I purchased a HP Pavilion dv6910tx laptop from Kanpur on 30th September 2008.
According to an HP promotional offer, my purchase entitled me to receive a digicam
(upon sending a DD of Rs. 999/- for handling charges, which I duly sent) within 6-7
weeks from the date of receipt of DD (10th October 2008). After the passage of 2
months I tried to contact HP through emails and phone. Even after repeated
assurances that the digicam had been dispatched, I failed to receive it as of 2nd
January 2009.
Upon contacting them again they requested an alternate address for the receipt of
digicam. I provided them with an address in Ghaziabad but I got no response within a
week or so. Contacting them through email and voice mail, I provided the alternate
address repeatedly but I have yet not got any response (as of 31st January 2009).
I would be highly obliged if you could suggest further steps needed to bring the
company to task and avail of the digicam offer.
