    Default complaint against Airtel



    I had been an Airtel customer (airtel connection, account number: 133098743, in the name of my wife, Ranjana) for close to 4 years before this. On July 27, 2011, I raised a transfer of connection request from one apartment to another in the same Apartment complex. There was no question of feasibility check by Airtel. They took the request number 138550 and promised to transfer it within 22 days due to server upgrades in between. I kept waiting for it to be transferred and kept following up with Airtel by calling customer support on 121 (numerous times), writing emails and also writing to nodal officer at Airtel for close to 67 days. On, 1st of Oct 2011, I was frustrated and asked for a cancellation of my connection (Req number 5027442) and was promised of disconnection within 8 days. I kept waiting for a call from Airtel for close to 40 days, when on 13 November, meanwhile being pestered by Airtel team for payment of bills for Aug, Sep, Oct and Nov for which time the connection was not given. I wrote to the Appellate officer and I was assured that some action would be taken and subsequently I was called by Airtel that they will be resolving the case and I would not be required to make any payment. I was appalled to realize at this point from this call that a new request was added by Airtel about retention without my acknowledgement and knowledge while the earlier two cases were still open (the transfer req 138550 and cancellation Req # 50273442). In this call, I was told that a new request has been generated to resolve my billing issue (payment of service which was not provided and cancellation) - request number 7379004 and 7651386.

    On 30th November, I received a call from a Lady representative of Airtel Finance department, asking me how much could I pay of Rs 6000 (some change) of the total amount. When I said, I would not pay anything for any service that is not provided to me, she told me that they will go the legal way and cut the call abruptly.

    I logged into my airtel account online and found that the connection is still active with Rs 3263.67 outstanding. I do not want to pay for any service that has not been rendered to me. Please help me address this issue.

    i m using airtel no since 10 years my no is 9892621114 my calls has been increase to 50paisa per minute being a airtel customer since 10 years i m requesting you that i want 1paisa plan with any conditions

    Angry No incoming and no outgoing calls

    I am prakash purohit from chennai. In my airtel number which was been transferred from BSNL number which is 9600090132 and it was transferred on 29.3.12 all the documents were submitted then too incoming was in BSNL and outgoing was in airtel but today on 19.4.12 my Sim has been deactivated without any notification. i went for complaining in my near by airtel office which is in near post-office of paries they have gave us just a sim card and that is also deactivated so i want you to take action against this problem its a grand request that you should help me.

    This is regarding the Airtel Broadbandconnection with the [COLOR=#009900 !important]account number[/COLOR]16545857 .
    This Broadband number was registered in my Name in an address in Bangalore.
    .

    I had requested for disconnection of the service through 121 in the month of November-2011 as I was not staying in that location after October. 121 had confirmed me the disconnection of the service is done on their end and connection was no more active, I was also told that collection of modem and other hardware will be done from them which never happened. While shifting to a different location I had to carry these hardware with me which makes the connection DEAD. After this I never heard anything from Airtel about collecting back the hardware even after my repeated requests.

    Today from no where I received a mail from
    Collections.KK@in.airtel.com asking me to [COLOR=#009900 !important]pay the bill[/COLOR] of ~ 2565 and threatening me of facing the legal consequences.
    Why should I make the payment for the service which is not existing and from where the Airtel has generated this bill of Rs.2565???

    Default complain against Airtel

    I'm using Airtel connection no is 9617307505. I have subscribe with 149 Internet pack then why my main account balance got zero. & I've not satisfied with customer care.

    Question Worst behavior of an airtel employee ...

    Today morning that is 21-4-2012, my friend got a call from one girl she told him that she is calling from airtel. he was literally busy and was in a rush to catch the train to pune. He asked her is this the time to call or what? and he disconnected the call. After a few seconds the same girl called him back and started screaming and scolding him using bad words. Is this the behavior of airtel employees ?? Dont you guys know how to behave ?? Dont you feel shame to say that you are here to service public? Shame on you people for your dirty behavior.

    Default BroadBand No :- 08042002484

    I had a broadband connection with no 08042002484 , for which I requested for shift of connection as my residence has been changed on October of 2011 , but no body turned up for about a month , then I requested for cancellation of connection , for which they took the request and told me that it will get cancelled within 7 working days. But still nobody turned up for 2-3 months , then I got a call from airtel saying you have an outstading amount of 3800 rs , if you will not pay it we will take legal actions , I paid it just because I didn't wanted to do all this. Then also no body turned for for taking the wires and modem.Now again i am getting calls for paying 600 rs saying it is pending from my side.

    I don't know how this bills are getting generated even I am not using connection for more than 4 months now.

    Today again I had called them up and given a complaint with number as "14949918".

    Exclamation Unnecessarily Charged Services not requested

    I am charged for Action and Sports Games yesterday 30/04/2012 at 09:56 for Rs. 99/- for 24 days 'and your account balance post charging is Rs. 632.06'.

    When tried to contact at 121, I am told to be charged for talking to Airtel representative. No one is allowed to talk without payment to Airtel, even for complaints, as it busies the line!

    When tried to contact at 121, I am told to be charged for talking to Airtel representative. No one is allowed to talk without payment to Airtel, even for complaints, as it busies the line!
