Default Complaint Airtel fixedline number 01141036225

I've got an airtel fixedline number 01141036225 in Aug2011. Since there was some technical profile up-gradation related issue with this number so after some amount of struggle I managed to get this number replaced with a new airtel fixed line number by airtel, which is working absolutely fine.

The problem is instead of deactivating this number in Aug-Sept 2011 and refunding me the advance amount paid, Airtel is continuously generating bills based on the minimum rent and sending me as spams on my email and cell phone. I've already informed Airtel multiple times in September, October, November and now also in December 2011 (both over the phone and over the emails) that this number do not exist and they should deactivate this number in their records on an urgent basis and stop irritating me by sending ebills and messages (please refer to the email thread below). Another issue is each time I call Airtel I have to explain the same issue again and again and again and I get "Sorry Sir" attached to a new reference number. BTW, my latest reference number is 6578506.

Through this forum, I would like to request Airtel to kindly work on this issue and stop troubling the existing customers.

URGENT ISSUE: PH. 01141036225, REQ ID: 6578506

    Dear Sir/ madam

I've already surrendered 01141036225 in the month of Aug 2011 (because it didn't get activated on the requested timeframe and I was allotted another airtel fixed line number in replacement of this number by one of your representative in the same month.)

But it seems like instead of deactivating this number in Aug2011 and refunding me the advance amount paid, you guys are continuously generating bills based on the minimum rent. Sir, I would like to bring in your notice that this number do not exist. Please deactivate this number on an immediate basis and stop irritating me by sending eBills. I'm fine if you do not pay me my advance. I think I've already informed this to you multiple times and informing you again one last time.

On the other hand, also it seems like there is some serious issue with this number in your backend database because earlier in Aug 2011, I was trying hard to activate this number, and now I'm trying hard to deactivate this number but your database is not picking up this request.

Also, I would request you (from the bottom of my heart) to assign one customer care executive on this case. Since its difficult to repeat the same thing again over and over to different people.

Hope that clarifies everything. let me know in case of any issues.

    Thanks!

Background of the resolution by your end: Since there was an unsolvable
technical issue with the number 011-41036225 allotment to me in July 2011. As
per my understanding the issue was due to some server updation going at your
end. I would like to bring in your notice that you have already resolved this
issue by deactivating this number and allotting me a new number in Sept 2011
(too late, but ok) without changing my phone/broadband wire.
Please go through the email thread below for details.

New Problem: Now, the problem is that suddenly I have started receiving calls
since last week from airtel saying that my number 011-41036225 is still active
and there is a bill pending. When asked, your representative said "the number
was reactivated in Oct 2011". I would like to bring in your notice that I have
never asked to reactivate this number since this number and you have already
resolved my problem by allotting me a new number in September 2011 itself.
Also, I have only one wire coming to my house which is connected only to my new
    number since Sept 2011.

I would request you to kindly do the needful by deactivating 011-41036225
completely if not done yet and do not disturb me further by making calls to my
cell phone regarding this number. This particular number was never allotted and
    used by me.

for any clarification, I request you to please assign only one person to this
case and contact me. I've already communicated this issue
    multiple times to various representatives.

    Thanks!
    Randeep

Since you guys were unable to solve this issue, you guys have given me a new
new airtel number and disconnect the earlier connection of
    01141036225, which is fine.

Now, can you guys please refund the Rs. 500 paid initially for the connection
01141036225 or transfer that amount on my new connection?
PS: I recently register a complaint for this refund for complaint
number 49168354, but today when I called customer care I got the answer saying
there is no complaint register with this number.
A Gentle Feedback: Your services has become pathetic from last few months. No
    one called me even once.

    Thankyou for your bad services
