I have taken Airtel Fixed Line + DSL in July this year. I was told during installation that outgoing calls will activated in 15 days. The broadband is working fine, but I still cannot make outgoing calls. Everytime I make a complaint, I get an Request number, and the call centre person says that it will be resolved. The request gets automatically closed without resolution. I have made numerous complaints, sent many mails to their nodal officer, appellate officer. Obviously they don't work and everytime I get a mail that they have forwarded the complaint to the respective department and the request gets automatically closed. I have visited their office as well in Hyderabad. The customer care executive acts pretty smart, apologizes, gives assurance that the problem will be resolved, gives his number and asks me to call, if the problem is not resolved by next day. The next day the gentleman doesn't even pick up the phone after many calls.

I hope the airtel top management team looks at this complaint, as their company is not only fooling the customers, but also their management, as they close the complaints without resolution. The nodal officer (emailid: nodal.southabts@airt​el.in), appellate officer (emailid: appellate.southabts@​airtel.in) are just dmmy emailids. Write a mail to them and the you get a reply that we are looking into your complaint and nothing else.

Some of my request numbers (6627108, 6239810 , 6138116 ). All these got close without resolution. The only saving grace is that Broadband is working flawlessly.

Hope some one from top at Airtel really really looks at their customer service and tries to address this before it gets too late. Companies become world class through the support and service they provide and not by ads
