Hi,

I was using the Airtel fixed phone no. 47562148 till Apr'09 and had been paying the due amount before due date without any default.

In apr'09 I called up at their call centre to disconnect my connection w.e.f 1st Apr'09.

I have checked up in their records that there are no incoming and outgoing calls after that date from this number but still they are sending me bills after adding rent of every month and now it is of 1600RS.

They have started following up on my cell no for repaying of this bill like anything, their executives have come to my house thrice in my absence to recover the amount which I am not supposed to pay.

There seems to be some disconnect between various departments within Airtel and I have got following request nos which I received from their call centre to prove that whatever I have said above is correct.

I am feeling very harassed by the attitude of Vendor’s executive and it can tarnish my image in my own society as I have never been defaulter of any bill whatsoever in my life.

Please help me out how to get rid of this menace.
