    Default Complaint for Airtel Landline Telephone

    Sir,

    The Airtle Landline connection was installed in my premises (Plan COMBO 499 PLUS Rs 499/- per month) in year 2006 in my name. It is brought to your notice that this connection has been lying dead since 24 June 2011. The sequence of events is listed below:

    24 June 2011:
    Outgoing facility was not available and a complaint was registered (Complaint No. 48067762) which was resolved on 26th June 2011.

    27 June 2011:
    Phone line became dead and again a complaint was registered for the same (Complaint No. 48231790). It was told that the issue would be resolved by next day. But it was not to be. After calling customer care again, it was found the complaint had been closed without resolving and without taking any consent from me (Neither was I informed about the same).
    Another complaint request was opened and was told that connection has been disconnected and it would be resolved by 5th July 2011.

    Even after waiting till 5th July and and making repeated complaints it was not resolved.

    09 July 2011:
    An executive from Airtel called up saying the issue can only be resolved by taking a new plan, to which I firmly rejected and told them to restore the original plan. Again the executive (after consulting her senior) promised that the issue would be resolved at the earliest but nothing has been done since then and matter has been hanging like that for more than a month now causing a lot of inconvenience to me.

    It is really astonishing that the phone line was disconnected without any reason and without bringing it to my notice. Furthermore, instead of restoring it within no time, your company is telling me to forgo the existing plan and opt for another one.

    So, I request you to look into the matter

    Hi ,

    My mobile number is 9501411299. This has been a worst experience with airtel. If such old customers are getting such a bad response then good luck to Airtel.

    I expect a call from your side at the earliest to get the issue resolved.
    It has already taken a lot of time from your end to resolve the issue.

    I have given a shifiting request for my landine from bangalore to cimbatore ( 080-42279525) i had raised a request on 14th of may till date i been constantly calling the nodal, applete , customer service every single day. Each one gives me a different response.

    I escalated from Customer service to nodal, from nodal to appllete team. But even the higest escaltion seems to be worst than any thing now. Constant false promises of call backs and resolution. never reply for the mails.

    Is this the kind of service you people provied. i have spent so much money calling you people every day.
    I need a resolution on this ASAP.

    Sorry to say but I see most of your replies being a ready template which rather than providing a solution just say we are working on the resolution.
    I raised the request in this forum on 08-08-2011 and i still see no resolution in sight.
