1) I had sent a request for Transfer of Phone on 29th October 2010 and received an acknowledgement mail on the same day
2) Sent a reminder mail on 3rd November 2010 asking me to update on the Transfer Request- For which i received a response to furnish the exact details- Interaction ID- 166672997
3) I then responded on 6th Nov 2010, for which i got an acknowledge mail with reference id- 162853 that the phone will be shifted in 3working days
4) On 8th Nov 2010, i sent a mail for cancellation of Phone & Broadband services
5) On 10th Nov 2010, i again sent a request for processing my shifting and agreed to pay the outstanding amount of 1001/-
6) On 11th Nov 2010, requested for the Bill Copy to pay my outstanding Amount and i have paid it between 15 to 20th of November if i am right
7) On 22nd Nov 2010, i again sent a mail for getting the status update on the shifting- for this i got 2 mails asking me to mail "121@airtel.in" (2nd Dec 2010) and the other on 4th Dec 2011 asking me to mail to care.karnataka@airtel.in.
8) On 7th Dec was surprised getting a mail saying that my Phone got shifted, this was a surprise because the phone never got shifted (if it had been then i would have signed for the same and the visiting Engineeer would have taken my Proofs after shifting)
And then it has become a never ending story, i have repeatedly called Airtel Customer Care and have told them to cancel the phone and infact the retention officer accepted the same. In spite of this i started getting calls from you outside agency for pay up of outstanding amount-
Unable to understand why i have to pay? the problem was on Airtel as a conpany-
1) The new place did not have sufficient DP's or Ports to shift the phone- for Airtel's delay why i need to pay the rental?
2) In spite of me asking to Close the account and also stating in my mail that i should not be billed due to the delay of Airtel.
3) There was a person who was supposed to come and collect the phone and modem from me bt he never came at all
4) If the phone was shifted where is the signed copy of acknowledgement? Have i handed over any supporting documents of Address Proof? and Photo ID proof.
In the span of these 5 to 6 months i have been receiving calls from your external agency to do the due Payment for which i have clearly told them that i had informed the Airtel Customer Care and after getting their confirmation that the issue is closed intimated the same to them.
Now i have got calls from your Airtel lawyers asking me to come to the Gawlior Court by tomorrow 13th July 2011, i have not been furnished any summons from the court nor by mail nor postage.
In spite of me speak to Airtel Customer Officers and Managers no one has resolved this issue, in fact i spoke to one Faizal today and again i called for the update status and it seems he did not record my complaint and then finally spoke to one Floor Manager- Dilip and on his advice i am writing this mail for the issue to be solved.
