    Angry Cheating done by Airtel Fixed Line (Voice)

    Higher officers of Airtel,

    I知 an airtel fixed line (voice) customer and my airtel fixed line number is 080-42030126 (Account Number: 16624996). The connection is in my wife痴 name Ms. Geetha.

    I would like to bring to your notice, the delay & careless attitude of your service persons, which I知 experiencing currently.

    I have booked a new airtel fixed line connection on 17-June-2011 and the new connection has been installed in my home only on 30-June-2011.

    Also, during installation, your service executive told me that since he has not brought the new (landline) handset, he is giving me a test (landline) handset, which he used for testing my fixed line connection.

    He also promised me that I will be getting a new Beetel (landline) handset on 1-July-2011. BUT, TILL NOW, I HAVEN探 GOT MY NEW BEETEL (LANDLINE) HANDSET. Also, the old handset is just GOOD FOR NOTHING.

    I have placed complaints thrice to airtel (4-July-2011, 9-July-2011 and 10-July-2011). But, there is no response on any of my complaints. When I called on 9-July-2011, your customer service executive spoke to me in a very harsh and rude tone.

    The deadlines, which were given by the airtel executives has elapsed without any action from your side.

    Now, I知 giving a deadline to Airtel:

    WITHIN 24 HOURS, IF A BRAND NEW BEETEL HANDSET (WORTH RS. 550) IS NOT INSTALLED AT MY HOME, I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL FOR CHEATING ME BY NOT PROVIDING ME THE SERVICES AS PROMISED.

    So, as soon as possible, take necessary remedial action so as to make sure that you save yourselves from the blush.

    Also, I hope you will be initiating an enquiry into your fixed line department on this, to find out what went wrong and why.
