    Hello Consumer court

    My landline phone and internet connection have not been working for the last 4 days. This is not the first time I am facing this problem. It's been plenty infact. Not even a single time, they resolved my issues on time. Morever, they generously impose monthly charges on me. I requested for compensation many times, whenever my landline and internet connections did not work. Nevertheless, I did not get any compensation.

    This time, I am literally behind them to get the issue resolved. I am entitled to get 2 MBPS speed and I am not even getting 128 KBPS, and most of the times, it's been not working for the last 4 days. The internet service members say that we cannot resolve the issue, as the landline phone is not working, and they closed the ticket. The hopeless telephone service members do not even respond to my ticket. And, the customer care representatives entice me saying that the issue will be resolved in sometime, which actually never ever happened.

    I have been asking for compensation for the time period during which the services are not provided for me. But, they are very much reluctant to pay the compensation to me. I want the consumer court to do proper justice to lay men like me. Thanks in advance.

    Hello Airtel

    Thanks for your prompt response. However, your customer care representatives were not as faster as you. My contact number is 9686933216, and I am an active airtel customer by name Saiganesh Padmanabhan. I have raised a couple of complaints - one for voice and one for broadband.

    The broadband issue is still open. And I have been asking Customer Care to give me a waiver for the time period during which the services are not available. However, the moment I ask for a waiver, they transfer my call to some technical department. This is the third time I am facing the same kind of problem. I did request for a waiver in the past, but my requests went in vain. I hope I will get a waiver at least this time. Before that, I really expect a quick action to get back my internet connection.

    This is to inform you that the broadband connection is still having issues. With a lot of difficulty, I did manage to get the technical engineer's contact details. His name is Manjunatha and his phone number is 9844864447. Despite calling him multiple times, he did not turn up to my residence to solve the issue. No one has turned up to solve the issue. It's SEVENTH CONSECUTIVE DAY and the issue is still not resolved.

    Since it is not the first time I am facing this issue, I have reached the consumer court. Even here, you have given an assurance of solving the issue, very much like your customer care representatives. But, I really do not see any small moment of action on my issue.

    This is wilful negligence from your technical engineers.

    Hello Consumer Court

    I want to bring to your notice the pathetic state of affairs of airtel customer service and operations.

    I raised a shifting request: 1410626 on 28th July as I was moving out of my house then to a new apartment. At that time I had asked to discontinue my current connection. I went to the airtel nodal office in sector -57 noida on 28th August to follow up on my complaint in person. Between 28th July and 28th August, I had called up airtel no less than 50 times and I was wrongly assured everytime that my shifting request would be processed soon.

    Inspite of my complaint at the nodal office nothing has happened till now. In frustration and disgust with airtel, I have decided to discontinue my broadband and phone connection with airtel. Also, I had called up the billing department on 3rd September requesting for disconnecting and also that I would pay only the bill for the period I used the broadband services last which was between 11th of July till 28th of July. I was assured that I will get a call in 24-48 hours on this and my issue would be resolved. Again as is customary with poor airtel service I did not get a call back. I called billing today and I was informed that they cannot handle my request as their systems are down- this is another thing that I have noticed in my interactions with airtel in the past that most of the times the systems are not working.
