This email is regarding the inconvenience i am facing now these days because
of false promises n statements & poor services of AIRTEL landline number
011-46529118 i am using registered under name of Sahil Sridhar.i've been
usingthis landline from October 08.MY number got terminated in April 09
because of non-payment of the services as i was facing some financial issues
n i couldnt afford to use it.I got a call from airtel regarding recovery of
the amount due.Their representative promised me a wireless router as well as
a discount of RS.1250 on the total amount due if i could manage,to get the
landline reactivated.On the basis of his promises,i decieded to get my
connection reactivated n i paid a lum-sum amount of Rs. 1250 on 14th may 09
without discussing about the wireless router but on a condition that i need
my connection to be reactivated within next 24-48 hours.The representative
Nidhi (011-41614843) sent an agent who collected the payment from me on the
same condition again.Nidhi assured me that its not gonna take more than
24-48 hours n it has been more that 9 days now.I called up the customer case
n spoke to a lot of senior agents who made me false promises.Sometimes,they
told me my number would get activated in 24 hours,sometimes they made an
excuse it a Sunday.Next day they told me another 4 hours.a Rep told me it
would take half n hour(please turn off your modem n turn it On after half n
hour). After calling them for like 20 times from my cellphone ,i spent more
than Rs 200 but what i am getting is only assurance & a timeframe.Moreover.a
few of agents told me that the maximum time it would take is 23rd May
4:PM.when i called up last night,i was promised it would be activated by
today,which is 24th may by 12 PM ( maximum by 3 PM).I called up to confirm n
they told me "WE CANT GIVE YOU AN EXACT TIMEFRAME).I've warned them number
of times that i'll escalate this to TRAI n Consumer court but still,they
dont wanna work or they are playing around.I am escalating this to you so
that you could guide me through the right steps to be taken so that i could
drag the most reputed telecommunication company to the court & get the
compensation for all the inconveniences i've been through.I would really
like to claim for the same & get all what i've been promised by Airtel as
well.
Please take this into your consideration & let me know what exactly i
should do to get the services re-activated & i would like to sue this fraud
company as well.
