Airtel not disconnecting phone

    Default Airtel not disconnecting phone

    I have shifted to another city and I want to disconnect the landline and broadband from my old rented house. Airtel people are not ready to disconnect the phone. Instead they are offering me to shift or change the plan. Every time I mail them they say that they will revert back to me but till now I have not received any call from them. I am attaching the mail communication I had with them.


    Can something be done to resolve this?

    This kind of pathetic service is forcing me not to select airtel in future for
    any other service. I am planning to buy DTH but this kind of issues are forcing

    I would like to reiterate that I am not getting any positive action from your
    side and just assurance that somebody will respond to it. I have already
    registered the request on 25 sept but there has been no action. I do not know
    why are you delaying your action of disconnecting it. I am shifting to another
    city so I have to disconnect it. I do not have any problem as such. It is as
    simple and firm that I want to disconnect it.

    So again please disconnect it before I take any further strict action.

    Nobody has contacted me so far for this disconnection. From now onwards I am

    Hi,

    I am shifting to another city and I do not have any other option apart from
    disconnecting it. I have been pretty happy with the Airtel services and there
    is no other reason for me to disconnect it.

    I have paid my last bill. Please disconnect this phone or else I will not be
    responsible for paying any bills coming in future.

    Default Sub: Sending of bill even after disconnection of application dated 11.08.2011

    I was consumer of telephone No. 01814621157. Not being satisfied with the services/billing, I have applied for disconnection on 11.08.2011 which was duly acknowledge at local office vide receipt No. 2259010 dated 11.08.2011. Bill for the period 11.07.2011 to 10.08.2011 stand paid before applying disconnection. I was told by the person receiving application that bill for about 7 days will be sent for final dues. Again bill for period 11.08.2011 to 10.09.2011 for Rs. 380/- was paid by me. Now again the bill for the period 11.09.2011 to 10.10.2011 for Rs. 175.32 has been received. It is not understood how the airtel is sending the bill when I have already applied for disconnection on 11.08.2011. Now I am not supposed to make the payment of bill for Rs. 175.32 since the request for disconnection has already been made by me. My contact No. 9530703833.
