Shifting delay of Airtel Landline Phone (Fed up with Airtel Service) I am fed up with the service Airtel is providing. I raised a complaint for shifting my number 011 - 43082753 to a new address on 16th August and the customer care executive said it will be done in 3 days and as of today (Sept 06 2010) nothing has been done. These executives never help and always says that due to some technical error you are facing problem. Leela Bajpai (one of the executive) she assured me that they will reply in 24 hours but they are seriously liers. I wont pay the bill bcoz i dont even have connection and they have generated the bill. How foolish they are. I seriously want to sue on them.

Airtel landline shifting Ticket No. 382141 : False commitment Hi,
I requested to shift my Airtel landline with IPTV and broadband on Oct9, 2010 from Noida to Indirapuram. I was told by CCExecutive at 121, which this will done in 03 days. But no one had turned up till Oct 13. Again when I called 121 , executive told me that today by 1 PM your complaint will be resolved and phone/IPTV/Broadband will be shifted. On next day they send someone to collect my documents.
Again when I called 121 they informed me that your phone can only be shifted in 30 days, and refused to help me. Even they did not disconnected my old number and said that we can take request for disconnection.
There is huge difference in 3 days and 30 days. Airtel is simply cheating and providing false commitments. Airtel just not lying, but also cheating their customers by giving false commitments.

We have your 15 Landline connections and 10 Airtel Mobile if today will not shift we will disconnect all the connections

I want to bring to your notice the pathetic state of affairs of airtel customer service and operations.
I raised a shifting request: 1410626 on 28th July as I was moving out of my house then to a new apartment. At that time I had asked to discontinue my current connection. I went to the airtel nodal office in sector -57 noida on 28th August to follow up on my complaint in person. Between 28th July and 28th August, I had called up airtel no less than 50 times and I was wrongly assured everytime that my shifting request would be processed soon.
Inspite of my complaint at the nodal office nothing has happened till now. In frustration and disgust with airtel, I have decided to discontinue my broadband and phone connection with airtel. Also, I had called up the billing department on 3rd September requesting for disconnecting and also that I would pay only the bill for the period I used the broadband services last which was between 11th of July till 28th of July. I was assured that I will get a call in 24-48 hours on this and my issue would be resolved. Again as is customary with poor airtel service I did not get a call back. I called billing today and I was informed that they cannot handle my request as their systems are down- this is another thing that I have noticed in my interactions with airtel in the past that most of the times the systems are not working.

Delay in Shifting I raised a shifting request on 23-July-2011 for my Airtel Landline number 044-43534770(erence number: 1184306). As per you customer care executive it should be resolved within 22 days. Now 50 days gone and the shifting is not completed yet. I reached customer care 1000 times and emailed your Nodal officers 100 times. This issue is not resolved.
Why my connection is not activated yet?. What kind of penalty Aitel is going to provide?.
Can anybody tell me how can I reach Customer Court and close this bludy Airtel company.

customer care executive conform / excepted my request for shifting landline no.but now i have more then 5 reminder send to customer care executive for changing my address and shiv my landline phone to our new address and now hi is say to me please pay 4 month remaining balance after i will give you your no. And send a executive for fixed your no. At your new address but not last forur month i cant used my landline connection so why i am paying bills to airtel

Excess charges on Mobile for data usage I am having a Mobile No. 9810009769. I wanted to use Email on my mobile so I subscribed for GPRS services with Airtel in the month of July 2012. I was using my mobile for email only and was provided 8GB limit on 2G.
I was horrified to find my August 2012 bill for Rs. 8000+. I asked for the detailed billing of my Mobile. This was provided to me after a considerable delay. After receiving the detailed billing that in my total bill an amount of almost Rs. 7000+ has been charged for usage of 3G services. And it also showed that for 21 days I was using internet on 3G 24X7.
I never applied for activation of 3G services to be activated on my phone and I never used my phone for internet surfing - I use it only for checking my emails. Since I have Broadband connection at my office/residence with unlimited usage, I never use my Mobile for Internet surfing.
I tried to file a complaint on 121@in.airtel.com ( the email ID as per their website) but the email bounced back. I started receiving calls for bill payment - I constantly told them that I never applied for 3G services and I have been charged for this and I never used Internet.
They have failed to resolve my concern. and now they have barred my outgoing calls.
