To inform you, i was having landline and broadband connection for which the number is 0120-4273747.
The connection is in my name - BHUWNENDRA VEKRAM SINGH
I was moving to a new residence on May 1st 2010 and therefore I had raised a connection shifting request on
27-APR-2010 for which the request number is 337217.
I was told by AirTel team on 30-APR-2010 that there is no feasibility in the new building where i was shifting to.
Then on the same day, i raised cancellation/disconnect request for this connection, the request number for this is 1045953.
Despite all this, i recieved bill for the month of May 2010. When i got this bill, i called up AirTel and they told me that it will be done within 3 working days.
After 3 working days, seeing no response from AirTel, i called up again, and was assured again that it will be done in 3 working days.
But, no action, i got bill for month of June 2010 as well. Then i called up AirTel again and they again assured me that it will be disconnected in 3 working days and they gave me a complaint number 34419306. Nothing happend and then after few days, i again called up and got another complaint number
34956776.
Well, it didnt stop here and i have got bill for July 2010 as well.
This wasnt enough, during whole of june/july/august, i got so many calls and messages from AirTel asking for doing bill payments which was very frustrating and mental torture.
Today was the limit when some AirTel representative called me in the afternoon and misbehaved with me over the phone.
Seeing no relief, i reached to AirTel office (B-38/C-1, Sector 57 NOIDA), and talked to a lady there who gave me few email ids to send complaint to. I did that as well.
Please look into this matter.
Such a dramatic torture is unforeseen.
Please get this connection canceled at the earlist and waive off all the pending bills as i had given the disconnection request within time and there is ZERO USAGE on this number.
