Thumbs down Billing of disconnected Airtel Landline Phone

    Dear Sir
I was a customer of Airtel for last four years. I was having Airtel landline phone with number 01145609667 Acc No. 11931168. I was planning to shift so I asked Airtel customer care to disconnect my landline. Later on they called me and requested me to resume my landline and promised me to transfer my landline free of cost and I was also assured to be benefited with discount of 20% in my existing plan for next six months. I agreed. This happened around 25th June, 2010. On 27th June, 2010 my landline stopped working. When I contacted customer care they could not give any proper answer. Later on I got a call from 9871734676 and was told that since there is no airtel network at my new place, my landline had been disconnected. I was ok with that. Though internet line was working. I used internet up to 15th July. After that , I shifted to my new address. My billing date is 22nd of every month. In the end of the month when my bill was generated, to my surprise I was asked to pay for whole month. When I contacted to airtel via email care.ncr@airtel.in and 121@airtel.in and got immediate responses and was provided with unique reference numbers. I was told that I would be contacted by their executives within three days. No one contacted me. Then again I sent mail to them and copied it to nodal.ncr@airtel.in. Again I was provided with some more unique reference numbers. Now I have buckets of unique reference numbers. When I contacted to their customer care via phone I was conveyed that according to their system my landline is still working. It was a big surprise for me and when I enquired about my unique reference numbers they told that server is busy and could not tell about the history of my reference numbers. For your record I have these so called unique(?) reference numbers: Qrc 1356999, 35580670, 35580872, Qrc 1386324 and 1149292. I want to know from Airtel
    1. What is the use of these reference numbers, if you don’t work on them?
    2. Though my landline is disconnected, but still you are planning to send me bills every month to the address where I am not residing. Don’t you think it is failure in coordination of your staff?

I request you to generate my bill on prorate basis for last month. And also update your system that my landline has been disconnected.
I don’t want to have more reference numbers but solution. I am available at 09911855790.
Hope I will get some solution through this useful link.

    Thumbs down Fraud Company-Airtel

    Dear Sir
I submitted a complaint through this site earlier also. My landline bearing Ph No. 011456096667 was disconnected on 27th June, 2010 but I got the bill for the whole month of July. When I contacted repeatedly Airtel I got so many reference numbers viz. Qrc 1356999, 35580670, 35580872, Qrc 1386324 and 1149292. Then I submitted a complaint on your site. I got some calls from their so called executives and was assured that I would get official confirmation of my terminated connection. Till then nobody has contacted me. When I called them again I could not get any proper answer.

Through your site I want to know the status of my complaint.
Or Airtel wants to run their office in such cheap manners.

Unhappy Are you really serious in resolving it

    Dear Rakesh

Do it fast otherwise it will become a serious issue. Don’t waste your energy in posting instead tell your sincere workers (?) to resolve the matter. You are doing it to your faithful costumers like me who were regular in bill payments. Be sure it will only harm your company. I was your costumer for more than four years and even not a single time I miss my on-time payment. Even then you are trying to squeeze me that show the mentality of such companies. I was planning to shift Airtel to my new address but your network is not there that’s why your company terminated my connection. You got a chance to make money out of that also.
I am not a soft target instead I will bounce back hard. I also advice you not make this practice as a habit; it will adversely affect your company.

Default They are doing same thing with ohters also

    Dear Airtel

I applied for termination of my connection long back. So far after so many requests my phone had not been disconnected. Now I am seeing that Airtel is doing the same thing with other people also. I was going thru different complaints and found that DS Rana from Gurgaon and others are facing the same problem. I would again suggest Airtel not to make this as a habbit. These irriated customers surely will affect your buisness a lot.

    Take care

Default Do you think these tactis will increase your buisness

    Dear Airtel

Why are you making people fool like this? I am really surpised to see the policies of your company. I am quite sure that you are getting nothing out of it. You are loosing more buisness. You have become a bad name in the market for all the products that Aitel deals with. I was a loyal user of Airtel for almost four years but now I have decided not to use any product that airtel is associated with. I have sent so many mails to so called airtel presence@airtel.in, but nothing happened. And you are trying to present that my problem has been resolved.
