    Exclamation Unuthorized disconnection of intercom service in my flat

    Hon'ble Consumer Court,

    I own a flat, 9C-Oakwood Apartments, Skyline City Park, Jawahar Nagar, Kadavanthara, Kochi - 682 020. I had rented it out to a tenant for more than 4 years and the tenant left terminated the rental contract in August 2009. All the flats in the complex had intercom connections, paid for by the flat owners. Some time back M/s Bharti Airtel offered the Owners' Association to change the existing PABX system, originally installed by the builder, by Airtel PABX service wherein all the flats will have the exisitng interxom facility and added to that outsiders can directly dial in to the extensions and if required the owners can ask for outgoing facilities by making extra payments.

    Apparently AIRTEL got to into an agreement with MY TENANT for using for outgoing calls / internat connection, without any permission whatsoever, from me. It seems the tenant left Kochi witout settling AIRTEL's bills and because of this AIRTEL disconnectoed by intercom line. Presently the intercom facilyt cannot be used. The follwing points may please be noted:
    1. I was not infromed about this agreement between AIRTEL and my TENANT and hence NO PERMISSION was given by me.
    2. Noperission was given to AIRTEL by the Owners' Association to give outgoing call/internet facility to my tenant.
    3. There is a legal AGREEMENT between OWNERS' ASSOCITAION & AIRTEL that under no circumstance the intercom facility should be disconnected.

    Even after all this, the high-handed action of M/s Bharti Airtel to disconnect the intercom facitlity in my flat is a violation of the Agreement and I seek your intervention in this matter so that my intercom facility is restored forthwith by M/S Airtel
