I had applied for a disconnection of my landline phone (01204107304) in April 2010 as i had shifted to another city. Despite of several calls at the customer care center the phone was not deactivated. I got several calls from customer care pursuading me to continue the number which i did not agree to
I received a bill for the fixed amount for the month of april and may. On calling customer care i was informed that i had agreed to continue with the number on a call made to my landline on May 17th. and hence the billing was done
I am surprised as to how i can attend the call when i have shifted out in April .
It seems to be a deliberate attempt not to cancel the number maybe to meet the retention number
Not sure whom to contact for help.
Complaint no complaint no 33078900 - as allotted today again. I guess i will need to mail to the news papers now
