    Thumbs down Vadafone charges for no reason..!!

    i have a vodafone mobile service for last 1 and a half year,last month i activated GPRS service and they charged me Rs. 300 for it for no reason stating that i used vodafone live! which has not been even opened in my mobile.when i call the customer care to complain they say i have to go to the vodafone store to regiter my complain.i went to vodafone store, they took my complaint and said i'll receive a call and will be told the details of the usage and if it is wrong then the money will be adjusted in my bill,but i dont get any call for 2 days and then when i call the vodafone customer care they said i'll again have to go to the store because they had no details about my complain even when i told them the request number,the person's name i talked to in the store and the date and time of visiting the store.Moreover the customer care people dint know how to talk and were very rude.

    VERY BAD RESPONSE FROM A CELLULAR SERVICE WHO'S TAG LINE IN HAPPY TO HELP...!!!!

    Thumbs down Vodafone hidden charges

    I am using Vodafone service for the last 2 years. from the last two years i had never faced any problem with Vodafone. I thought Vodafone is the best cellular network service provider. Even i suggested my friends to take Vodafone.

    But from the day i started using GPRS service, i start facing lot of problem ( in terms of money) with the service. Initially they charges more than 300 for activating GPRS. I don't know why they are charging for the same. Now to surf internet I always use internet pack . But to my surprice i am always charged more than Rs 300 once my pack is over,whether i use using internet or not.
    Yesterday (12.09.2011) when my Internet pack is over then Vodafone charged me Rs 700. When i contact CC, then after listening to my query they used to disconnect the line(Vodafone Tag line- WE ARE HAPPY TO HELP YOU). Ultimately i came to know that i was charged for using extra 501 Kb. I want to know whether Vodafone price for using 501 Kb of internet is Rs 700? This is the third time i am facing the same problem. Previously in the last month (August 2011) i was charged more than 300.

    Can anyone tell me what to do, as i am not getting any response from Vodafone.

    Default Vodafone GPRS Chanrges

    Hi Concern,
    I have been using Vodafone services for the past 3.8 years and was pretty satisfied with the services.

    I faced a peculiar problem in the last month bill which are faced when we are using prepaid numbers.

    I have requested to customer care to activate the GPRS pack on my number (which is for INr . 125 for 2 Gb) and for that i had sent the SMS also as said by the customer care executive.

    But i was very surpised to see my bill in the month end.

    I was having a bill of ~ 2000 Inr out of which ~1500 Inr were charged for GPRS.

    The strange thing here is when i dropped a mail to Vodafone executive , he replied stating that the GPRS pack was never activated on my number.

    Now, i would just like to as 1 thing here, if i m getting the GPRS service for Inr 125 then why would I not get the serivce activated and pay 1500 inr later.

    No customer would ever do such a mistake , that he is getting a serivce for a mere Inr 125 and he would not get that service activated and then would pay Inr 1500 for the same.

    Please help me in this regard

    Get BSNL Connection.

    There is no such
    money cheating complaints in BSNL. Once you move to BSNL disable all Value Added Services. Even there is any complaint easily you can track from nearest BSNL offices.

    Don't go for PRIVATE MOBILE NETWORK
    SERVICES. By a recent survey BSNL is having more customers, all people are moving due to the following reasons:


    · Enabling VAS on their own and taking Rs.1 daily
    · No response for any complaints even from Appelate desk
    · Dialing ISD calls automatically and taking money
    · Unable to reach Customer care executive
    · No proper response at Customer relationship centers
    · Cheating, Cheating, Cheating... is their motto

    AGAIN SAYING this AIRTEL is very worst service-oriented deafs. Don't shout on deaf's ears. They will cheat us and give ads. to attract new customers.

    You are not alone victim of Vodafone Live service. There might be thousands and millions more...I think it is designed to fool and loot customers. I just got looted now for ~Rs350...They have designed it such a way that it is active by default and even on request it is not possible to deactivate.....so, even God cannot help you....
