Poll: is that PORT sms is charged?

Sir,

Unable to port from relaince GSM( my mobile no -8144718430) to other network,
If i send 'PORT 8144718430' to 1900, i got responce your process could not be processed, try later.
Already relaince Customer has looged two complaints, 1 complain they replied as complain has been solved,.
When i send msg , again i recieved the same error message,
Again i have raised the complain for the same.
Till it was in pending.
Now they are deducting Deducting 1rs/sms. i asked customer executive name : Gopala krishnan(18th aug 2011 , 3:00pm), he replied, since porting is 1900 messgae, so it be charged 1rs per sms.

Reliance is reaaly eating my head.

I want to port out from Reliance CDMA to Vodafone. I have messaged on 20-Nov-2011 at 2:30PM more than 15 times to 1900 with the message "PORT 9324586293". The charges of Rs.1/sms is deducted but there is no reply/message or any call received from 1900. I have tried the same with my TATA number and got the reply message with Unique Porting Code immediately. I called on 21-Nov-2011 at 3:00PM to reliance customer service and explained the problem. After listening i was adviced to call later as the system were down. Infact for TATA number i received a call from TATA service centre asking the reason. It is more than 24 hrs and there is no reply till now from reliance or 1900.

My number is 9861195456 and am using the number for 6 years now. Well, i should not discuss the problems and frustation that comes from this unsmart SMART connection.

I just want to port the number and even that is not possible as message to 1900 is restricted(it is eveident as to every other number, message is delivered and 1900 is accessible from other serviceproviders)

Hi,

I have been trying to get the porting number since Aug'12 and was advised by Reliance to send an SMS with PORT my number" to 1901. I have been doing this since Aug'12 and have logged several complaints with Reliance mobile store but there has been no resolution. Every time they give a TAT of 24 HRS for me to receive a call back with resolution, but no call back. 10 years with them and never thought it would be so frustrating. God only can help.
