Hi All,
This is Prakash, I had Booked Airtel DTH over Phone (IVR Merchant Transaction) and Paid 2390 through my credit card on 12-03-2011. DTH Account no: 3007353937.
The Person from Airtel (Mr. Praveen & Sai) came for the Installation on 13-03-2011 and did the Installation. The Signal Strength & Signal Quality was Very Low (In between 30-40 out of 100) resulting picture with less quality with dots intermittently.
When i asked them regarding this, they replied, "this is the Only Quality U get in Airtel DTH... If we increase the Signal, the DTH box will Burn". If u want U can call the customer care. Then I told them, If this is the Clarity i don’t need the Airtel DTH (better go for a Local cable).
The Airtel Person said call up customer care and do whatever u want, am taking the DTH Back .
(Looks like Airtel DTH team is least bothered about customer Satisfaction).
And I called up Customer care and was in call for ~50 min and requested them to refund of my money.
The behavior of the engineers visiting for DTH Installation is too worst.
