I have over 600ltrs LG refrigerator Model no. GR-B652YLS/2009 which is equipped with an external water dispensor. The water dispensor is disfunctional since May 2010. I registered the complaint on 12th May 2010 through their phone service. The mechanic from the service center said that a particular strip inside is broken and would need replacement which can take upto 15-20 days(which itself is a long time). Following that there was no communication from the company end. Inspite of repeated reminders and complaints it all fell on deaf ears. Assurances were given but never fullfilled. Infact the first complaint that was filed was cancelled by them with the reason: 'Customer making repeated complaints". Clearly stating that "Whether the company solves the issue or not you shouldnt complain". The complain that was refiled was also cancelled. Recently about 10days back the same mechanic came and took a xerox copy of the original bill saying it was required for the procedure but again nothing is been done. The company people keep calling now and then asking about the problem which they already know. Its been 2.5 months since the water dispensor is inoperative and still nothing is being done.
