I think you have to read the credit card interest rates once again. If you have an outstanding on the card and are making minimum payment dues, those get adjusted against the interest and not against the principal amount. The next bill again comes with a interest and your outstanding principal will never come down. So even if you make minimum payment due for 3 -4 years your outstanding will remain the same. The rate of interest on card in 3% per month plus service charges and taxes.

I wrote to their customer care center and also head services and everytime I would send a reminder they
would respond statng they will check for a payment arrangement and then not come back to me.
they meanwhile blocked my savings account for 47000 and today I learnt they have debited my savings
accounts without my authorization even while one department was faking a payment arrangement wth
me.

I have two medically challenged people at home and the bank has robbed me of the money teeming
with their credit card department.

I hope I will find justice in this forum

Can Bank held up the Money due on credit card against the balance lying in Saving bank account without any authorisation or mandate? Are there any rules to do so to this effect?
