Nemiraj P. a member of Subrahmanya Inekidu Primary Agricultural Co-Operative Society sustained injury to his wrist due to fall of Glass Almirah and the broken glass piece cut his tendons and caused injury to Ulnar Nerve. He took priliminary treatment at Girija Clinic and then was referred to AJ Hospital Mangalore. He had Yashaswini. He had to spend Rs.59,610/- in all. Yashaswini failed to honour his claim by even a single paise. He approached Dakshina Kannada District Forum at Mangalore. The Forum awarded full Rs.59,610/- plus 2,000/- Court expenses and interest of 9% on the payable amount from the date of complaint till full payment.
