    Default Airtel bill issue

    Hi

    I applied for Airtel Broadband with 512kbps speed, 5gb limited usage at daytime and unlimited usage at nighttime. I paid in advance for 5 months. Yesterday, I got a call from billing office saying that I have exceeded our limit and have used 17gb within one month.
    They said that unbilled amount is now Rs.8636. This much usage is utterly impossible.
    I asked them for usage details but they said they cant provide me with that.

    Please help me with this issue...

    Angry Airtel Bill Issue -- Wrong Download Bill

    Hi ,

    I have been Airtel customer from last 1 1/2 years and never faced any issue. But recently, in my Sept, 09 bill they charged me for 4223 Rs for download of 8GB data. I have a limit of 4GB and had never exceeded the limit. Also for month of Sept I was out of country most of time.

    I have filed a complaint to Airtel about wrong charges but airtel customer did not responded it well. After calling them multiple times I got them to give me numbers and email etc of the Nodal and Appletate officer.

    I have sent them complaint about it and waiting for their reply. I will have to move to consumer court and fight for justice incase I hear a negative reply. And seeing the same case on this website of some other person and that too for month of Sept makes me think that Airtel had something going wrong at their end.

    If you are not getting any help from the Nodal Officer or Appellate Authority, kindly forward your complaint to the DOT (Department of Telecommunications) with copies of all correspondence made with the Nodal officer and Appellate Authority of the Co. The address is:
