Hi,
I have a demat account with Reliance money. My demat account no is 1304140000651921. I had not done any transactions with my account from June,2008 to June 2009. In July i activated my account with a scheme named PR-500. It was explained that i can use the card for a cumulative turnover of around Rs. 2,00,000. I transferred around Rs. 13,500 from my bank account and did trading (both delivery and intraday) in stocks and options. On 24th July, there were debits made for Rs. 2500 and Rs.500 from my accoutn balance. I thought it was some mistake and normally they debit it back within 2-3 days. Then again on 27th of July, another debit was made for Rs. 7000 from the account. And another transaction for Rs. 3000 on 29th of july. I tried calling them up but came to know that their dedicated customer service support through telephone has been stopped and is being used only for tele trading. I tried sending mails to the customer support (both from private mail and reliance mail id) and has not received any replies uptill today. I got the number of the branches from thes ite and tried contacting them. None of the phones in bangalore were connecting and two of my calls were answered from chennai. They were trying to misguide and frustrate me. After trying for 4 continuous days, i got connected to mumbai branch. I was trying to explain my problem and i got a reply that i had made transactions tot he tune of Rs. 27,00,000 on 27th jul again. The leverage or the margin provided by reliance money is just 5 times your account balance and i just did trading for four days. I have checked my trade book and the total turnover comes to around Rs. 5,39,400. I got an explanation that for every Rs. 2,00,000 in trunover Rs. 500 will be deducted from my account. I had not given any authorization for this and i was not even informed about this. Even going by this calculation a deduction of Rs. 1000 is understandable. I have tried explaining this to the customer care executive and she informed me that she will send me the statement of my transations. I got my ledger report and limit card statement. My ledger report shows my transactions matching with the ones in history trade book. But the transaction sin the limit card statement were completely mismatching and the charges were made based on this. She promised me to call back by 4th of august evening and i dint get a call. I have tried calling them, but the call is not getting connected. I have replied to the mail explaining that the transactions were not made by me, but was ignored again.
Please let me know how to proceed to get back my money.
Regards,
Titto
