This is very common problem which we faced usually, at the time of selling their policy they only tell you the fruitful things, not the hidden costs, terms and conditions and even some time they also misguide us with some good but fake offers, we have to read the terms and condition before taking it, and never believe what the agent is telling you against the terms or if the terms are not mentioned in the policy documents.
If you have something in written then make a complaint of the agent in written to the CMD of the SBI, mention all the details in it and attach the photocopy of the document which was given by the agent and send through registered post.
