Reliance Infocomm plans to capture about 25 percent of the mobile market share in Gujarat by expanding its telecom services in 425 towns.
According to V.K. Garg, CEO of the company's Gujarat circle, it has charted out an aggressive growth pattern for the state and by March 2006, the network coverage would expand to 425 towns.
At present, the company covers 265 towns.
Garg said the company had about 800,000 subscribers in the state.
"Capturing 25 percent of the market share would require it to increase the base by 100,000 subscribers a month in the next four months," he said.
