Chennai-based NEPC India Wednesday announced a turnover of Rs.22 billion for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2005, registering a growth of 88 percent.
Profits for the same period stood at Rs.105 million in comparison to the year-ago profit of Rs.13 million.
NEPC India vice-chairman Rajkumar Khemka said: "The revenue growth has resulted from bagging new and repeat orders from the domestic and international markets."
"The company, using its 'indigenous' tag, will improve its client base, supply chain and technology platform and ensure a steady stream of innovations while keeping the uniqueness of its product and fostering new tie-ups in the coming year," he added.
The company has tied up with Norwin of Denmark to produce 750 KW machines. It now produces wind turbine generators of 750 KW capacity in collaboration with Denmark.
NEPC India is a company of the Khemka group, a leader in the field of manufacturing and marketing wind turbines used for power generation.
