    Default About irctc functioning

    Dear sir
    I am regular user of irctc but only i am user not the benifeciary of service provided by irctc.

    When yoy try to book ticket for tatkal it shows service unavailable.but for agent it shows all services

    can i know this site has been launched for agent only.i want that there should be harssed action aginst such agent and
    hacker who create problem for general publice.

    Default Booked ticked canceled by IRCTC without information

    Sir

    I have booked a ticket through IRCTC, 15days before the travelling. The ticket was confirmed. While I am travelling the ticket checker informed that my name was not found in chart. After that I come to know my ticket was cancelled by the IRCTC on the same day within half an hour after booking my confirmed ticket. But this was not brought to my knowledge. In that case I want to know how IRCTC cancel the confirm ticket without cancelled by me? What went wrong in the above case. Finally I paid penalty to the TC.

    Whether I can suit a file against IRCTC in consumer court for poor service rendered by them.

    Hi,

    Sometimes i think, we are a progressive country, developing but still more developed among so called third world countries. Same is evident when you listen to speeches , claims made by our politician and even industrilists.
    I believe they must be claiming about their own status when they praise for the development,
    Now I would like to highlight so called development in IT sector with our brains being exported or are imported by developed countries (we are in demand).
    I was booking a ticket to Datia from faridabad thru IRCTC, the only agency which has exclusive right to Indian Railway tickets itenary (they only sell these tickets to other travel portal).I wanted a ticket in tatkal kota and logged in at 7 :45 am but system says tickets under tatkal will be available from 8 only.
    So I kept checking the site but as I my watch was nearing towards 8 am, site started to behave in a manner that It is not happy on why time is passing and started slowing down and eventually stopped at around 7:54 or so.
    Then the real chase started to open the webpage for login to IRCTC , which eventually made me an expert in shorthand (I can type IRCTC, my user Id,Password,destinations and dates ect in lass then half a min now) but this expertise is only for IRCTC as it is given by them only.
    Finally I was able to login at 8:17 to check if any ticket is left for me or everything under tatkal is sold thru Reservation counters (I am not stating that IRCTC or Railway ticketing dept. are corrupt).
    Yes, I finally got one and luckily booked it too but all the time when I was booking it, I was freightful that site might stop working any time or txn. will fail, which did not happen as God was with me as he/she is with this country otherwise how is it possible that a nation which is biggest exporter of IT brains (not counting the uncountable worforce which still works in India in IT sector) is not able to find out a solution to such a problem that the system fails exactly at a time when it is needed most and irony is that all such Imp. systems are still in Govt control or are controlled by Companies which are controlled by Govt and believe you me Govt is not corrupt (they might have spend millions of rupees to develop such a wonderful tool called IRCTC portal to book Railway Tickets) as they still are working for benefit of AAM AADMI.

    From a AAM AADMI till I become KHAS by giving bribe to someone to book a ticket whenever I need it.

    Default IRCTC Not Refundinig my Ticket Amount(PNR NO:2326399158,)

    Hi,
    On 1 0ct 2011 I booked ticket to travel on 14 oct 2011 from H NIZAMUDDIN(NZM) to secundrabad on Rajdhani (Train no 12430) with PNR NO: 2326399158, but the train was diverted and iwas not traveled, I filed TDR on 14th oct 2011 with ref no: ekt2011101403454971, only 50% of amount I received and after several reminders even after 6 months my remaining amount was not refunded.

    We are your regular customer.We had ticket dated 04/06/2012 Vasai road to Ahmedabad of Ahmedabad holiday express (09420) and we had an extension from ahmedabad to viramgam at the difference of 2 hrs. The train which we travel from vasai rd to ahmedabad was 3:30hrs late so we missed the from ahmedabad to viramgam. It was not possible for us to file TDR within 3hrs. We had filed TDR after reaching home i.e. on the 7th of June 2012. On inquiry at customer care we came to know that we can file TDR within 30days. I would like to know that why are you returning half the amount of the fare taken from us.

    Default complain against booking railway ticket for any time waiting list

    I want to book railway ticket from ticket counter or through online ticket is always unavailable or waiting list.. What is the problem? Please see for solving the problem.

    Hello,

    The website which we use to book train tickets (especially tatkal) is toooooo slow and its really tough even to get logged in.
    Indian railways earning crores of rupees from the people but not giving a better service.
    Today, number of people are making online bookings at irctc.co.in and the site is so slow at the peak times (8 AM) because of the traffic in the network.
    But they can upgrade their servers to increase the reliability so that users can get their service good.

    I hope soon they will rectify this problem.

    Default unsatisfied service of IRCTC

    This is the second time I lost my money during booking online ticket in IRCTC. It hangs up during transactions , and money is debited from the account. and there is no detail in booking history, its very frustating. I want my money back. Tell me the way how can I claim for my money.

    hello sir,
    i have booked my train ticket from coimbatore to katpadi on 17 th july for my travel on 18 th july through irctc online reservation. i have paid my ticket amount by SBI ATM cum Debit card and the amount of Rs.288 has been taken from my account but still i didnt receive the ticket or any confirmation to my mobile.
    so can you pls help me to get my money back pls pls pls

    Default Complaint- protest against inferior service + indecent behaviour - pnr.4343161719 - train.16340-a13

    Dear Sir,

    During the period of my travel from Erode to Mumbai begins on 18 July

    1. I was served with used and foul odour bed sheet, it took much time to convince attendant named Mr.Suresh of CKK PETORL SERVICE - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM DIVISION for changing the same even then it was not good and clean.

    2. Despite repeated request for Towel, he refused to serve

    3. Behaviour of attendant Mr.Suresh was with anger, hate, aggressive and adamant

    Above three are about Indian Railways catering and also Railwas failed to provide clean coach as well as Air Condition attendant was least concerned to give best cooling to passengers.

    I hope to hear from you about the action taken on my complaint, so that the same will be eliminated forever.

    TTE Mr.Jadhav of this coach tried his best to resolve the problem but failed. I got down at Thane Station on 19 July to register my complaint with station master however he asked to register the same through SMS on 9004911111. I did it but till now there was no feed back and neither an acknowledgment

    Hope that remedial action will be taken soon

    Default Refund of Ticket after cancellation

    Respected sir

    This is in reference to my transaction no- 0494906700, PNR -2563910852, date of journey: 27-06-2012 (Two tickets) Rs. 2020/-. I have cancelled my ticket before 27-06-2012, filed TDR against this ticket on 5-07-2012, but still not received my ticket amount and any reply from IRCTC.
    Kindly make necessary direction and provide guidance in this regard so that i can received my ticket amount.

    Sir,I booked a on line ticket on 02/08/2012 from Mangalore to Quilon .The amount is deducted from my account.But the ticket is not issed.I varified the booked history,the ticket is not booked.What shall I do for it.
