    Default Non-information and unjust change in tariff plans

    Sir/Madam,
    I would like to inform that my unlimited tariff plans for my tata photon plus number 9238426972 and account number 979063535 have been changed without my information nor was there any attempt in their part to inform me about such changes by there call center employees who generally harass my father to pay the bills almost 20 days in advance prior to the actual due date. The original tariff to which i had subscribed was of Rs.950 pm unlimited plan ( post paid) with 5 GB as high speed internet (3.1mbps) and 155kbps after exhaustion of the 5GB limit . everything went fine until 14-jan-2012 where my speed was ridiculously slow even on 155kbps standards. I had contacted the customer care on 25-jan-2012 to explain me about the very slow speed to which he had informed that I had capped my speed and he further told me that the tariffs were revised for unlimited plans and for my plan he stated that i would be getting speeds of upto 600kbps for the first 5 GB, 155kbps from 5GB-7GB and after 7 GB the speeds would be revised to 32kbps . This was not what i had subscribed for and this was certainly not mentioned even on your official portal . He told me tata photon had sent me a mail on 17-jan-2012 regarding the same but even after double checking my e-mail account i had not received any such mail on the said date. My grievance is that you people are prompt on bills collection but you dont even bother to inform your customers about your changes in plans which affect millions of your faithful users? shame as i used to encourage people to take up tata photon connection but after this i dont think i am getting my money's worth . a 32 kbps connection does not justify your 950 INR per month price tag. i am disappointed by your unfair practices of keeping the customers at dark and changing the plans without any notice. I dont know what you may gain from this , but i am sure you would be loosing many of your loyal customers because these reasons.

    Hi Duttatarayan,
    I am using TATA photon(no:9213094782) and facing same type of harassment from TATA photon.
    I am also using the same plan of 5gb@950.
    but suddenly i received a call from customer care that my unpaid due is about Rs2000.
    I was also informed that the plan has been change to some 1800min@550.
    On inquiring i was informed that plan change request is raised my me on 14th Feb which i Never made.
    Now i feet regret for using and encouraging my friends for using Tata photon and will change over to some other service provider within a day or 2.
    TATA PHOTON-Very Poor and unethical service provider .....

    worst part of it is that the employees themselves are clueless about the workings of their own company, the call center guys tell me that there is a further capping of 32kbps on any unlimited plans or should i say HSIA capping plan ( i never subscribed to that) instead of what this docomo guy says here which is a 5 gb of high speed Internet and after that 155 kbps till the next billing cycle, what i am surprised to see is that in 2011 they used to mail me when i had used up my 5 gb High speed internet and i was then put on low speed , but since Jan 2012 i havent received any messages regarding that BUT surprisingly high imp. is given to bill payment mails . and whats more now they have disconnected my net services stating i have used up my "free MB of 8357 MB" and will be charged here after . THEY never mentioned that to me nor was there any mention of charging extra to a "unlimited" aka BOGUS plan. Tata Photon management groups must be put to shame , now i wonder what more hidden clauses they are going to put on us in near future.
