This is regarding a reliance Data Card that I purchased from Acme Business Solutions. After having issues to get the Data Stick registered and after the dealers coudlnt hep me out, I contacted Relaince customer service only to realize that I wasn't even a registered customer with them. My documents hadn't been updated and there was no record of any of my transactions.
Problem in Detail-
I spoke to Mr Mohammed(+919742690337) on 20th December 2011 to get a Data stick for Mr Brett Younge(Canada National). As per Mr Mohammed's request I submitted address proof and a photograph. I explained to him that Mr Younge would be travel from 23rd so if there is anything else that needs to be done he would have to get it done before Mr Brett starts travelling. After Mr Younge reached Orissa, he realized that the Data stick wasnt funtioning. When he contacted the dealers and spoke to the team manager Mr Sayed(+919342099995) they adviced that they needed another document(PCC letter). As Mr Younge couldnt submit it whilst travelling, he adviced the dealers that he would get it sorted out when he returns to bangalore. On his return since he couldn't get the PCC letter on time and since Mr Younge and myself wanted to use the Data Stick for Busniess Research purposes, we decided that I would get the Data stick in my name. I was asked to submitmy address proof and photograph and that was done. After that when I spoke to Mr Sayed and Mr Mohammed. Both of them adviced that instead of giving a new Data Stick, they would just transfer my details to the Data stick that was sold to us in December. I submitted the documents on 20th January 2012 and my connection was supposed to have been activated by 21st Jan. When I called Mr Sayed on 21st, he informed me that it was his off but he would still try to get it fixed by Sunday the 22nd. When even on Sunday it wasn't sorted out I called Mr Mohammed on monday who asked me to call Mr Sayed. I called Mr Sayed between 10.00am to 12.15pm. But Mr Sayed didn't respond to my calls. After that I texted My Sayed to which he replied stating that I would have to wait till EOD to get it sorted out. I didn't hear anything from any of them until tuesday 24th Jan. Hence I called Mr Sayed again. Even this time My Sayed didn't respond to my calls. I again texted him to find out when the issue will be sorted outand got a response stating I had to wait EOD on 24th aswell. To reach Mr Sayed. every singe time I have call either the agent Khan(+919019308090) or Mr Mohammed and request them to call Mr Sayed to inform him that I'm trying to contact him. The phone calls made and the texts exchanged from my Vodafone Postpaid numberand the emails sent are enough proof to show how much trouble I have been through to get things sorted out with Reliance. Not enough now I realize that I'm not even a customer of Reliance asper their records.
The whole experience shows how the sales representatives made false promises for the sale and after that messed up everything. And in my opinion False sale is punishable. Because if a company and its representatives are making false sales then it shows that the company isn't an honest trustworthy company and they make their stand on flase grounds.
We are looking for a whole refund of the money we paid for the connection, for the phone calls made and for the text messages sent. We are also looking for a compensation for the losses we incurred for not having an internet connetion whilst travelling, for the trouble caused to us and for wasting our time for nothing.
