This is with reference to the above mentioned subject regarding the exorbitant bill which was charged to me for the period - 15th Dec 2011 to 14th Jan 2012.
I was surprised when I got a bill for an amount of Rs 18000/- plus. When enquired, I was told that its because of the 3G charges. I had opted for 2 GB of free usage and as per the bill, my usage is 3.5 GB which is absolutely false billing. During the billing period, I was forced to pay 12000 Rs on account of Credit Limit so that my connection doesnt get barred. Whenever I enquired to your call centre and to your Branded Showrooms at Marine Drive and Kadavanthara, I was told by the executives over there that once the bill is generated all these amounts will be credited to my account and they also said that there is some issue with the billing system for 3G hence I was getting such huge unbilled amounts which they said the company is rectifying.
When the bill got generated, I was surprised to see such a huge amount and when enquired at your stores i was told that i had used 1.5 GB extra on 3G and they have charged me some 10 paise per KB for the same. I was shocked to hear this as I was never informed about the extra charges and over and above that I was shocked on the usage part. I have not used more than 2 GB on my mobile as I was monitoring my usage on my phone clearly.
Also please note that, I was using a Blackberry CDMA connection prior to this on same number with Tata Indicom and I had done an INP to GSM docommo in November. I was never told about the plans in detail while transferring the connection. I never received any Welcome Call from your end nor I received any welcome kit which could have explained me the plan details.
Hence I request you to kindly do the needful to waive off the extra charges you have charged on me for 1.5 GB which is aroung 16000 Rs because its a pure case of false communication and wrong way of taking a sale done by your executives. In case you are failing to do so, I would be forced to go to the consumer court and file a case against you for misguiding me while taking the connection and for cheating me by charging such huge bill amount.
I have been using this connection since 2008 and have been a regular customer and a good payer with good usage. Hence I hope that you will rectify this issue and clear the amount which you have charged in excess so that we continue this relationship further.
