I changed address and Tikona installed it at my new place. But I did not get proper speed. After one visit by their engineer, I still did not get the desired speed and on 04/12/2011 I requested them to disconnect their services. whereupon their main office or someone talked to me and said they will send engineer once again to try and solve the problem and I requested them to send the engineer at once as I was really losing my work. My job is completely dependent on Internet.
The engineer, a Mr. Sachin, called in the evening and said "Madam, I have come to your old address. I am not feeling well, can I come tomorow?"
I knew he was feeling lazy to come to my new place, around 6 km away from my old place and I said ok but you need to be there before 9 am, which he agreed.
the next day, i called him since 9 until 10. He did not pick up my call and did not answer back.
I mailed tikona customer care that I did not want their services and they should disconnect it. I also called them at their customer service center and requested them to disconnect.
the engineer called me around 10.20 and i told him that I have already mailed and called for disconnection.
I again sent a mail to tikona customer care on dec 7 requesting them to send me an acknowledgement of my mail. to this date I haven't got any acknowledgement. I also called them on the same day and asked if my request has reached them. they said yes and i requested to send me acknowledgement which the guy promised he will and he also gave me details that within 7 days my connection will be deactivated.
When I got my e-bill, i wrote to the Maharashtra nodal officer and gave him all the details. I got a reply after 3 days that action will be taken.
Now I am getting calls every day about bill payment. when i tell them i have requested for disconnection, they simply cut my phone without saying anything. Only once a lady said okay we will send engineer to collect the wire and modem. But the calls have kept coming for bill payment. This has been happening since last 2-3 weeks.
Now they are calling with recorded message asking me to pay the bill.
However simply I have written this, it has been a very hard and tiring for me. I have lost my patience. I call this mental harassment by tikona. Even when I am ready to pay the adjusted bill, they are behaving like senseless stupid guys. Now why should I pay the bill at all?
