i am anuj jain, doctor by profesion working in lucknow. i had purchased a tata photon connection . i asked customer care official for disconnection due to poor service in jan2011. they offered to put my connecton in safe custody ,i agreed. initially i was told that maximum duratioon of safe custody is 6 months but later thye told that it was 3months.
the safe custody expired in april2011 and i received a phone from customer care regarding my choice to continue with the connection or disconnect. i told them to disconnect my connection. the person didnot tell me any other formality to be done and affirmed that my connection would be disconnected . after a month a bill was served to me even without any usage. next month again a bill was served again without any usage.when contacted the customer care told that a bill of 1100/- is pending against ur name and connection has not been disconnected .they also told me that connection will be disconnected only when u pay the money. since then i have received several call from customer care and i am fed ip of explaining to them the situation. arecovery man also came and went away without any solution. now i served with a notice from the lawyer asking me to pay the money or face a legal action.
this is too much of mental harrasement to me from tata photon.these r arm twisting tactics from tata photon who instead of providing the customer with good service is harasing its customer who beared with them for more than a year by paying all his bills regularly without any delay.
