TATA Photon Plus Fraud Service Hi,
I was sold the Tata Photon Plus by the marketing team which worked decent in the first month, was getting around 100 KBps speed. However very soon the connection speeds dropped to almost 5 Kbps for which i complained to them on 26th August. My brother in law also uses a Photon Plus in which he is getting good speeds but i was not which made me doubt if the dongle was the problem.
The tata guys upfront said that there is a network issue and closed the complaint. After a lot of follow ups one of their network team member "Prabhakar (9220255005)" visited my residence and tested my device along with a device he had brought. He concluded that the device i have been sold is defective and hence the slow speeds. I then received a call from a lady called Pragya from the no 022-67925400 who promised me that my device would be replaced and she will call me in 1 to 2 days. However 1 month after when i escalated it. They sent the tech team again and simply said that nothing will happen for the next 4-5 months. These guys are absolute thief's, the lady Sandhya from Nodal Office promised me that as the network was bad my bill would be adjusted but when it came to payment no such thing was done. A person who called for payment reminder had the audacity to say that "if Sandhya has not given it to you in writing that there will be bill adjustment then we will not accept it. Our verbal confirmation does not hold any value.".
Till date they have not replied to my below query is if my residence is in a low network area how come
1. I was getting 100 kbps almost 2 month ago.
2. My brother in law who is using another tata photon device is getting adequate speeds.
I am paying Rs 1200 pm month for the crap that these guys call service however they have the least concern to change the dongle. I had bought this due to the good image of the TATA group but have been really disappointed. Such fraudulent behavior was never expected from them.
With such unacceptable behavior from these guys thinking of filing a case against them.
