Default Reliance NetConnect Usage/Misguided Information and Harassment by RCom Officials.

I had been to your Reliance Web World office in Mathikere, Bangalore in late May/early June and spoke to Mr.Avik and asked him to disconnect my connection. He said that rather than disconnect, he could provide me a retention plan of 3gb at Rs.500 per month. I told him to then change the plan for the same.

However, I received a bill of 1000+ for two consecutive months even after that. I received innumerable number of calls from Reliance, once even from Avik himself (there were other guys such as Gangadhar from the Reliance Web World in Yeswantpur, Bangalore) to pay my bills. I patiently responded each time explaining that I am ready to pay the amount should my bill be changed as per the request. For a few calls which I got in August, I directly requested them to terminate my connection. However, I received a letter in September stating that my connection has been terminated and that I need to pay a whopping amount of Rs.2594.

I didn't pay heed to this, however, a couple of weeks ago, Vinod (from Reliance Bannerghatta) called me and said that he intends to file a legal case against me. I tried reaching across to the number that Reliance provides as a contact person (Mr.Aravind/Mr.Biju) but someone answered and redirected me to Mr.Nagaraj Shetty. When I reasoned out, he said that he would offer me a gracious waiver of Rs.400 and that I still need to pay close to 2100. He specifically mentioned that there are no such plans as retention plans and that I was misguided.

I again received a call on October 10th from Mr.Vinod who said that he would have to file a legal case against should I not respond. I spoke to Nagaraj Shetty but he too could not offer any assistance. I tried reaching Aravind's number all through 10th and 11th, but received no response.

I walked into your store in Indiranagar yesterday and spoke to them about the retention plan. They neatly detailed the whole plan as

    Rs.500 for 3GB
Rs.650 for 3GB during day and 10GB at night.

They wrote down the plan for me in detail, gave me the regular pamphlet and told me to compare the prices. I took the proofs, paid my bill of 2594 and informed the store manager, Mr.Raju that I intend to file a case in the consumer court. I informed him to speak to his senior authorities. I wrote a mail to Nagaraj Shetty regarding the same, however, he hasn't bothered to respond yet.

This is thoroughly unprofessional behaviour on the name of Reliance, and to top it, I was constantly harassed to pay my bills rather than provide me the service I requested for. As far as your contacts are concerned, the lesser said, the better (I've called Aravind close to 40 times the last week, but never got a response. Either the cell phone is switched off, or intentionally cut even though it would have been busy a minute ago).

I don't intend to threaten the way Reliance Customer Care did (am surprised that its called as Care), but I intend to blog and inform my organization and all my colleagues to not prefer Reliance services detailing the problems that I've had to face with your service. I am a respected individual in the society, however, I've been misguided and forced to pay up for a service that I didn't prefer to have.

I spoke to the Consumer Court officials last Saturday, and they said that I should just try to pursue once again before filing a case. In case I don't get the response, they said that they would gladly assist me in filing a case against Reliance.

Reliance touches the limits of mismanagement. I am sure to let everyone I know the great "customer care" they provide.

+91-9880522251- that is my number. I should be available all day long. Please call back to this number at the earliest. I would love to hear from RCom officials. One of my friends too is facing a lot of difficulties with RCom but no one's helping him out on the "customer care" behalf.

Angry misleading by relaince netconnect team

i am using reliance net connect from last 5/6 months, the day i purchased the connectivity was very very poor.
i raised several complains to feedback/ customer service.

Initially as per them there are conjuction in the particualar area, which will be resolved within a month.

almost 6 months passed, till date they are having same excuss, in term of compentation they are offering Rs. 100 discount in bill that i am paying from last 6 months of approx value of Rs. 800 each.

i also proposed to surrender the device which they said is non refundable.

    Raghuram,

Did this get resolved? If you search this forum, the RCOMCare seems to be an auto generated message from some stupid software. They respond asking for phone number and when shared, they get back and say they are not able to reach you. I think it is time for all the customers and x-customers of Reliance impacted by their fradulent activiteis to file a class action suite against REliance.
