    Hi Support,

    i am using the airtel broad band from last 5 months having number 01244360994. for the first 2 months it was working properly and after that every 2 minutes it gets diconnected and get connected again thus unable to use it properly. i followed up airtel call person regularly and there person visited also but no solution provided.

    due to this problem i have not paid the bill and airtel started following up for the payment.
    and when i called up the airtel for the disconnection of my line then they told us that they will get it corrected once i pay the bill.

    they offered me the same services at reduced service and reduced number of phone calls. i accepted and paid the bill of 2100 INR. after payment of the bill airtel connection started working but with the same problem.

    till now it is 3 months complete and no solution is provided by airtel for the correction of the problem.

    Dear sir,
    myself maan singh bearing the mobile no 9996517402
    opted this connection in the hope that i will a pleasant service.but it all in vein because of the untruthful behaviour of the your customer service behaviour of your airtel customer care.
    i send a request on the date 21 dec 2009 for the activation of the GPRS service on my no. i am having the nokia 5800 handset which fully compatible for the internet services.in accordance of the of your customer care guideline i follow the procedure that i told by the customer care. and they said to wait for the 4 hours and still i m waiting for the completion of the 4 hrs .
    by the repetaive callling to your customer care bt no response there and executive have their differnt opion about my query the procedure they told i cram verbly but still not getting the service.
    in the end i when i give the ask for the refund of the amount they said de active the service that still not get refund amount they given the limit of the 28 dec 2009. that also over i am also having the call recording of the all conversation with ur executive. that can i used as legal proof against u if don't get the proper solution of my problem in consumer court in the i forced to do such act
    kindly take a positive step in my matter. waiting for ur kind response

    Default Unauthorized activation of Hello Tunes on my number

    AirTel sent me a message from 543211 on saturday, 6th february 2010, that hello tunes had been activated on my bangalore number 9902769550. Now I have not sent such a request as I have been abroad for the past 6 months and have barred outgoing from my cell.

    They then happily sent another message that they have charged me for the same, Rs 30 for the "rental" and Rs 15 for the "Airtel Jingle". I don't want this service and the amount should be refunded to me completely.

    How is it possible that AirTel can activate any service that they want and force me to pay for it??

    Since I am abroad, I cannot call their customer service number to take action and they have not provided any email address on their website where I can register my complaint.
    Do they expect me to incur large ISD bills just to make sure they don't charge me for something I don't want in the first place???

    Unhappy I want to go back from normal plan to my previous FRIENDZ plan..

    Hi ,

    I am a airtel customer for past 3 years. My no. is 9975363237... this is my friendz plan number..
    But after I made a recharge of 42 rupees... my number is no more in FRIENDZ plan... i talked to customer care they told me you are out of friendz paln .. now you are in normal plan.

    So what should i do to go back in friendz plan... please help me out.

    Post Airtel Sucks .... the worst customer care.

    Hi All,

    I am writing this mail with utter disappointment and i am sure by knowing my experience if there is any one who cares for customers in Airtel will certainly empathy me.

    I first got in touch with a Airtel agent for an Airtel Broadband connection. This guy informed me that in order to get an Broadband connection i need to pay him Rs. 1000 towards installation and if i need a wi fi modem then i need to pay Rs. 1500. Also i need to pay Rs. 799. Which makes a total of Rs. 2299, which i paid.

    Then comes the day when i was supposed to get my connection. The installation was done and the internet connection was set and a base model telephone was set at my place. Later when i enquired about the cordless i was informed that cordless is out of stock and i would be given a cordless in a days time. Now i did wait for 3 days to get that informed to the call center where in a complaint was registered and then finally some one has come home and set the cordless in 2 days time. However the person has take away the base landline which was free along with the broadband connection.

    Here come the worst moment that the cordless goes blank and i have a dead telephone line, i complained the same at the call center where in a complaint was raised and a technician came to my house to address the complaint the next day. However he informs that he will not fix rather the one who has set the phone connection will only fix the problem.

    Now a technician comes home and picks up the existing cordless phone and leaves a cordless phone which has no battery back-up. so if i have power connected then the unit will work or i have a dead phone. Sounds weird but that is true.

    Now i have a dead tele phone line past 6 days and an open case as well (as per my knowledge). Now even worst part of the episode is i called the call center today in the morning informing the same and i find that the customer care agent hangs on me.

    Further adding on to the insult the case is open from 4th feb, 2010.

    I have technicians coming home and talking weird things, the worst part is today a technician has spoke some bad words in local language. Why is this happening to me. Why am been insulted for choosing Airtel.

    Now this makes ask the below questions:

    1. Why am i not provided with the package that i opted for and the money that i paid for.
    2. Why there's confusion on the landline with an add-on Codless phone.
    3. Why did the service rep. leave the case open.
    4. Why did the call center guy hang on me when i asked him for a case id.
    5. Why is this case still open and why there is no one to check with the same.
    6. Why am i insulted for choosing Airtel and who gave you this right.

    I have never felt so depressed and dejected like today, with the turn of events and i still would like to ask this question repeatedly that who is that call center guy to hang on me when i was still talking to him with a genuine reason.

    Angry Irresponsible service from customer care

    Hi , This is Lakshmi narayana. Yesterday night I activate my message card with 26 Rs easy recharge. But i didn't observe that balance in my *123# account balance, I tried for so many times, for talking with your executive regarding this. But every time, Total time is waste, It is connected for long time and simply disconnected, this is not fair, I like your network and i am your one of the long term customer for this network but I think( sorry it is confirmed) your network follows the very worst process for talking with customer care executives for any simple query also. Please for escalate this mail and customer care approach to your higher officials. My number is 9704285115. I am not worried about my balance and message card details, I just want you to ask why all this shit, "press 1 and 2 after 9 finally disconnected".     Default Frequent disconnects is the norm

    I can understand having idiots on the other end of the phone who are not empowered or trained to solve anyones' problems (which are 99% of the time attributable to Airtel).

    I can understand the excuse of shoddy service. India is difficult to operate in still, and there are challenges, these problems will occur.

    I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND having to call in, enter in 50 digits (landline, account #, press 2, press 9, etc) and *then* getting disconnected OR talking to someone with remedial language skills for 5 minutes only to demand a transfer to a manager with only slightly less cerebral damage and be disconnected on the way.

    I've been trying to *change* plans to *the most* expensive plan (4999) for 2 weeks. I've called customer care 20 times at least, I've been disconnected at least 1/2 of the time.

    This is unacceptable, and really does not help Airtel. It just means angrier customers when they get through, longer calls and higher attrition rates in your call center.

    Seriously guys, get it together.

    Default Regarding Cancelling the airtel Connection 9740933002

    Hi,

    I am a frequent user of airtel for the last 5 years. I have taken airtel connection 9740933002 . One year before I was using this number . I have settled all the bills up to which I have used the connection. And I need to close this connection. Please take necessary steps to close this connection as soon as possible becos the bills are keep on generating but the number is not in use..
