I also submited rs 500 with same Distance Telecom 15 days back. Till now no response they just keep saying aaj lag jaayega kal lag jaayega. Please let me know if this company is fraud? If yes lets join hands and fight against this fraud.

I have applied for MTNL broadband connection through DISTANCE TELECOM (Authorised vendor for MTNL ) on 09/Jul/2009. An Executive Mr. Manish taken a 500 Rs cheque from me at my residance address along with all the documents and promised me to get connection within 7 working days with the reciept.
Now even after 2+ month with so many followups over the so many diffrent Telephone/mobile number i have not got the connection. I have talked with many diffrent executives names Pragya, Prerna, Neha, Juhi, Latif, Rahul etc., they all just says that within one or 2 days you will get the connection but is of no use.
These 2 months hamper my official works a lot which results in loss of money with degradation in official image.
Now i have taken the connection from reliance and want to claim on DISTANCE TELECOM.

Please tell me the process to proceed for the same

I am Govind Vashist , Karampura , Delhi-110015, I got a call from distance telecom marketing cell promising MTNL broadband connection in 7-10 days maximum. and i had given an order to M/s Distance Telecom, 84 A,Ground Floor,DDA Building,Mata Sundri Road,New Delhi - 110002(# 011-23238383,23237890).

i had applied for connection on 09 of Nov'09 along with 500/- rupees and till date when i call the customer care number : 011-23238383 or 23237890 , i always get an answer "Sir your connection will be installed in tomorrow sometime told monday, then sometime Tuesday Wednesday or Friday etc." Now its going over one month and no one has come from their end to check where the services has been deliver or not. Mean while I had also spend lot of money over phone in followuping with the reprsentative of this company. (Neetu, Kanika & Gagan, Shekhar) when i ask for OB no. they told me still we have not tomorrow morning you called and take your OB No. but next morning again they reply me same answer.

these people take customer for granted and just keep them giving false updates or commitments about the connections. They dont let us complain to their seniors there. Please let me know where can i escalate this issue so that this business partner gets fined or a punishment for fooling arounf with customers. they are always ready with excuses and sorry's.

Please help me to take this complain up to the responsible parties. As i am really troubled without phone and internet for past 1 Month and that to after doing everything on time even follow ups.Looking forward for your fast action

I have upgraded from 1350 scheme to 1400 scheme in BSNL which should provide a 4 Mbps speed as compared to my previous connection's speed of 2 Mbps. I have not experienced a speed anything more than 2 Mbps until date and the usage details that is recorded by BSNL proves that. Nobody including the DGM-BB office who is supposed to upgrade the profile is bothered about it and on the 6th my speed is downgraded to 256 Kbps stating that I have used up my limit of 25 GB. They have not updated my profile at all until then and whatever I have used falls under the speed of 2 Mbps speed for which the data vouches. The AGM's office assistant told me over the phone that my connection was updated only on the 6th on his request and that it got missed out somehow, which is refuted by this lady stating that how he knows when it was updated. But the sudden fall in data speeds clearly indicate that the updation was done only on the 6th, according to the data usage list published by BSNL. Never I have experienced 4 Mbps speed even once until now, ie 15 days have gone by in the month and again the data shows that not even in one segment there is a speed greater than the 2 Mbps range. When I tell this to them, they are hardly bothered and say that we will check it the next month and see after that. What happens to this month? I am paying more and I am getting my free calls reduced from 200 to 50 and on top of this the balance segment of the speed I am getting is 256 Mbps only as compared to my previous connection speed of 512 Mbps. I have complained in all the appropriate channels. I have a docket number. I have complained to the local exchange. I have complained to the AGM office at the Area Exchange and now I have complained to the DGM-BB at the NIB (National Internet Backbone) and have even given him a written complaint. Two days have gone by and no reply. My email complaints go unattended. Do I have any retribution or just have to give up! I would appreciate appropriate advice. I am from Chennai and the complaint is for BSNL Chennai. Do you have a correponding chapter for Chennai or do you know of an equivalent advisory body in Chennai. Would be grateful if someone can guide me further?

DT MTNL,108-A, GF, DDA bldg, Mata sundari road, New Delhi -110002 with Telephone no -- 01123237890, 22221504,22040826 is a Fraud Company. They cheat public on the name of MTNL Connection. They make false promises about MTNL Connection and collect money.

They have taken 650 rupees and given receipt a month ago now they are denying for connection and don't want to return money. when i call they told today we will refund your amount. tommorrow we will refund your amout.... i don't knw day will come.

It is totally fraud company... BE AWARE... I am also going to complain in consumer court... I need ur suppport....
