Angry Reliance: Receiving a court notice for unpaid bill, 6 months after disconnection

I had a reliance wireless internet connection a couple of yrs back, which I disconnected about 6 months back, somewhere in September or October. Now, 6 months after the disconnection (in March), I received a court notice from an advocate of Reliance.
In the notice, it is stated that DESPITE OF REPEATED REQUESTS AND REMINDERS by his client (i.e. Reliance), I never made my payment on time. This is utter nonsense. I never received any bill from Reliance ever since I disconnected.
I agree, an outstanding amount did remain which I had to pay. But i could pay only if i receive a bill, isn't it, which I didn't. I never received any sort of bill from Reliance for payment of the outstanding amount. I also agree, it would probably be my fault that since I didn't receive any bill, it was probably my duty to go to Reliance and ask for it.
The point to be noted here is that the service of Reliance has been utterly third class, but when it comes to squeezing out money from customers, they are utterly first class.

Default Reliance: Receiving a court notice for unpaid bill, 4 years after

I had a wireless internet connection which got disconnected within a hours of installation. i got fed up by raising more 5 or 6 tickets for that issue but they never cared about it. But they are perfect in sending the month end bill. So I didnt pay the bill i didnt use the service at all. But after 4 years they are sueing me by sending court notice. This is totally ridiculous.
