my dataone broad band connection was on 250 Home i,e Rs 250/- pm for home users until
26.03.09. i had applied for 750 UL Home in 2nd week of 03/09. on 27/03/09 i found in the dataone portal that i was on 750UL Home. here UL is for unlimited. so i started using the net without restriction from 27.03.09. for 250 Home limit is 1GB free. till 26.03.09 i was well within
1GB usage limit. but from 27.03.09 to 31.03.09 the usage was high enough to reach a figure of 1.8GB(approx.) for the full month. the BSNL has charged me for usage of GB above 1.
according to BSNL the changeover to new order takes place from the beginning of next month so that different tarrifs do not operate in the same month. but BSNL no where informs
the consumer about this rule. so i was fooled by ignorance of a rule kept in the dark by design or fault. now the question is can i claim relief?
