I have faced some real bad experience with Tata Indicom wireless broadband services :&; there have been commitments that are still awaiting actions.
I understand that I need to send them a notice through registered post & I'll also get the details for notice from other posts (videocon fridge) but right now I just need to know where should send the notice (I am located in Faridabad); so would it be the nodal officer north for Tata Communications?

I reside in Bangalore, East (HSR extension) and took a wireless broadband connection (Flash 256 - 10 PM to 6 A.M - 1.5 Mbps and rest of the time it is 256Kbps) sometime in August with an offer of one month free for a 4 month subscription. The 1.5Mbps factor was one which pushed me to go for this plan.
I found the speed to be disgustingly slow, and the worst part was most of the time, I was neither able to connect, and when lucky when I got the login page, I was not allowed to login due to message telling my account was inactive/disabled...and this happened "N" number of times even though I had payed money for 5 months in advance !!!
Paying monthly 1100+ tax, I found the service was pathetically poor. And the customer service was ill equipped to handle these issues, they ask me to signal strength and so on, but were not able to solve the problem most of the times.
Based on my experience I found the service to be active 50% in a month. Then, I get a call from the TATA customer care saying that I need to migrate from Flash 256 to some other plan as they have technical issues with it and they want my approval. I was given the OPTION of two plans which never came close to the speed of 1.5 Mbps. With the kind of hassles, their poor service and the forced plan change, I decided I will quit from this TATA nightmarish experience and asked them to disconnect and refund back my money. However, the refund was not an option !!! Now, here I am in a situation, where the TATA's have agreed to provide me a specific service, taken money for 5 months, and now, they are in a position where they cannot honour the contract/service. However, there are not ready to refund the money! Doesn't it seem to be a good strategy to make money? Promise things, and once the customer pays, TATA's can do what they like!!! Wow, we can learn couple of things from TATA's on how to make money.
I recommend not to go for this TATA connections , if you want some peace of mind.

I have taken a tata plug to surf from bangalore about a year ago as i was placed in bangalore and was working there for for a IT firm. Later I have moved to mumbai and continuing my service here. The problem that tata is registered for the autopay services from my credit card. I dont want to use the plug to surf now. I went to one of the tata indicom gallery to inform that i want to discontinue with the plug to surf , they said that if i want to discontinue I have to go back bagalore and ask there to disconnect your connection. This reply is very irresponsible one. If i have to pay the bill for tata we can pay in any gallery. Y not same applies in my case for disconnecting the services.
please suggest me for the proceedings

I took up a Tata Indicom wireless broadband (Photon) services in February, but due
to lack of use I cancelled it in September.
Initially, I told the customer services people on the phone that I no longer require
the service, and they told me that I should pay off my final invoice and the service
will be cancelled.
I therefore paid the final invoice sent to me, and followed up by sending an email
to Tata Indicom clearly stating my service is to be cancelled.
However, they continue to send me invoices, and several phone calls each day saying
my service is still active.
I'm incredibly disturbed by the constant harassment - please advise on how to stop
this madness.

I have cancelled my tata connection and my refundable money is not returened back as yet. i cancelled it in december and lauch a complaint of not receiving the payment in jan 14. and till tate i'm following up but no response is positive my complaint no is 11560128.
every day i receive a mail from tata, pls have passions with us your money will be returned.
is there any way i could get my money back as it is a hard earn money.
