    Default Airtel connection not provided yet and already charged for two months

    Hi,

    I had applied for this Broadband transfer from Noida to Jaipuria Sunrise Greens, Indirapuram.

    The transfer was stalled due to some reasons. And I was told during introductory call not to proceed with the connection until things get sorted out.

    Two months passed by and a bill came to my doorstep. They said if you need activation pay the balance amount and sort for discounted bills in future for zero usage in Nov, Dec,2010
    Due to official pressure from my present firm I did pay Rs 838 (pending amount), despite the fact
    That my connection was never activated for Nov and Dec, 2010.

    I waited for 5 days and no one came to re-activate the connection.
    After trying desperately to contact Airtel customer care for hours, I gave up and called my friend –an airtel user to call 198 from his landline.
    Then I was asked to provide the transaction ID of payment (as if they were testing my patience), and the guy said that someone will activate the line.

    Unfortunately, today - 11th of jan,11-- I am told that according to TRAI , I have to provide the ID’s again and then it will take another 3 days to activate my connection.


    Has TRAI allowed AIRTEL to charge customers for 2 months without providing the connection itself.. ?

    Default Airtel Broadband and Landline connection - shifting problem

    Hi

    My Airtel Landline / Broadband Connection is - 0120 4114945, I have requested for shifting to Jaipuria Greens Sunrise Appts, Even after repeated calls to customer service(more than 3 weeks), I am not getting the work done. They have even started the billing cycle strange. Neither telephone is working nor the BroadBand connection.

    When ever I call Customer service, they promise it will be activated within 8 hours or tomorow, I don't know when will the tomorrow come...

    I have even told customer service rep for disconneciton of service and told will complain to consumer court...


    I don't think they are really serious about the matter.


    need help to speed up the process....
