Dear Sir/Madam,
I had applied for an Airtel Broadband connection on 19th June, 2009 (Tuesday). The Sales representative went to my residence and assured me that feasibility is there and there is no hindrance in giving me an Internet connection.
Only after getting his assurance, I gave him all the documents and also Rs 500 in cash. He assured me that the connection will be given by Saturday. He also asked me to terminate my existing Tata Indicom Broadband connection, which I did the next day.
However, to my utter dismay he called me today, i.e. 26th June and conveyed to me the news that the Distribution Box near my residence has already the allotted number of connections and the company cannot provide me the connection.
Now, I have nowhere to go. After assuring me for a week, the company claims that the connection is not possible. To make matters worse, I also don't have my Tata Indicom Internet anymore.
After making repeated calls to the Customer Care number, all I got was a firm "NO". The company was only sorry for the inconvenience caused to me.
Through this application, I would like to bring this matter to your notice and request you to provide me some relief.
Yours sincerely,
Manash Jyoti Sarmah
