    Default Mileading by Airtel Broadband

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I had applied for an Airtel Broadband connection on 19th June, 2009 (Tuesday). The Sales representative went to my residence and assured me that feasibility is there and there is no hindrance in giving me an Internet connection.

Only after getting his assurance, I gave him all the documents and also Rs 500 in cash. He assured me that the connection will be given by Saturday. He also asked me to terminate my existing Tata Indicom Broadband connection, which I did the next day.

However, to my utter dismay he called me today, i.e. 26th June and conveyed to me the news that the Distribution Box near my residence has already the allotted number of connections and the company cannot provide me the connection.

Now, I have nowhere to go. After assuring me for a week, the company claims that the connection is not possible. To make matters worse, I also don't have my Tata Indicom Internet anymore.

After making repeated calls to the Customer Care number, all I got was a firm "NO". The company was only sorry for the inconvenience caused to me.

Through this application, I would like to bring this matter to your notice and request you to provide me some relief.

    Yours sincerely,

    Default Airtel broadband connection

    Hi,
Also fased the same issue with Airtel, I applied for an Airtel broadband connection 3 weeks back. At the time of taking the
application, the agent checked all the feasibility and I still remember that I
checked with him more than once about the feasibility of the connection before
giving him the cheque to avoid any mishap.
After 3 weeks, when I didn't get any reply from those people, I called up the
customer care and asked for the status. Now after me asking, they called me up today
and told that it is not feasible in that area to put the connection. Its being 3
weeks that I gave the application and almost 2 weeks they have encashed the cheque
    which I gave to them.
I don't understand how can they say now that it is not feasible to install the
connection now. As this was the case, they should have told me well in time so that
I would have gone for some other service provider and perhaps would have got the
connection by now. I need to know what took them this long to find out that it is
not possible to put the connection there.
Could you please help me with this
    Warm Regards,

    Default Airtel new Broadband connection

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I had applied for new Airtel Broad band connection. Even before applying the sales person whom I have
contacted asked my address and confirmed me that, there is feasibility of connection in my area.

Then a sales representative was sent to my home for filling up application form. He canvased me for a
5 months paying option and I gave him a cheque of Rs.4000 for 5 months internet connection.

Now the airtel people called me back and said there is no feasibility of providing a new connection in my
area because the nearest box is 300 meters away from my home.

I am really depressed by the way the Customer service acts. Because they are not capable of providing
me a good reply for the money that I paid. They keep on telling me that the money will be given back
    with in 15 days.

Please help me to get this issue sorted and get my money back.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Nirmal.

    Thumbs down Airtel Sucks

Hi folks, Same story with me as well. I applied for the broadband connection some 25 days back. At that time I was told that internet would be activated at my home with 48 hrs. See the crap that they did, it has been 25 odd days I haven't listened any thing yet. I called at their helpline I spoke to some senior official and he assured ne that I would get response with in 24 hours, but again it has been 3 days since then. I think Airtel is growing in foreign market and wants to stop its services with in its owns origin country.

Anyways, its still not too late if they start focus again on Indian clients. Remember India is one of the largest mobile users country.
