This mail is regarding the mental harrasment i am facing from MTNL broadband.I know this is not the grievance cell but still i want to bring this in your vision that i have been harrased by the service of mtnl broadband.I am using the mtnl broadband for last 8 months or so.I am living in Trilokpuri,New Delhi. situated near Mayur Vihar Phase-1 but being a rehabilation colony none of your staffs helps the consumer living here. My internet works hardly 10 to 12 days in a month. I always use to register complaint but i never got any proper service from MTNL. This time when my final year examz are going on i am realy forced to write this to helpdesk.They have never provided any technical assitance to my net related problems.My net isnt wroking from 3rd of May 2009. I have regulary registered the complaint at 1504 but didnt got any assistance from MTNL. The problem is that my net works properly in the morning from 9 am to 5 pm but afterwards its get disconnected very frequently and shows request timed out all the time after 5 pm. When i didnt got any response to my complaints then i personaly approached my areas Line man, Compuer engineer who provides assistance and he sais itz not his responsibiltiy that my net is not wrking in evening, when he respond like this den i talkd to SDO,Area manager and Additional Engineer as well.I personaly went to there places and told them about my problem but they dint took any corrective measures till now and they are not even picking up the call.I am completely frustrated and broke down by this service and i am not able to talk to any one else now. I am a graduation final year student and my examz are going on.My last exam is on 18th may and that is also of computer.So it is my humble request to you that please take any action to make my net work on time.Its my careers show time and i am realy worried about it. I am writting this mail because no 1 responded against my complaints.

I'm also fed up of the poor service of MTNL !!
I have the Rs500 broadband plan which has a download limit of 2.5gb per month with 256kbps to 2mbps.
My problem is that the connection is never frequent the net came for 10min. and then go.... i also get very poor speed not even 256kbps and whenever i complaint to MTNL brodband related no. ( i.e. 1504 in delhi)
they keep telling me that either its a technical problem or they kept saying that you should be happy to get net working for sometime in a day.and say that exchange has been overloaded.
I feel like bashing up my head in keyboard whenver i am opening a attachment in the mail or downloading something. It always struct in the middle and broadband goes off. It is very irritating as whenever my dad is paying up the electricity bill or paying house tax the net goes off and one day e finished of paying the same house tax thrice which is very serious problem as after it he had to bear problem asking the authority to refund the money debited in his account.
I'm very fed up of this service.
I want a strict action to be taken against all the defaulter who are stealing widthband from users connection or else they dont have any right to ask for Rs500 in the bill.

i m residence of johari pur delhi 94.i have used mtnl broadband since two months . there is no proper server at any time . now FROM last a week there is no ADSL lite in my modem or it fluctuate, come gone; come gone .already open sites goes closed shows a msg of server not found. i m very dipress abt this .
please . take a action & treat this solution as soon as possible
First send your complaint to the nodal officer and the nodal officer will have to provide you solution within 10 working days. If he fails to do so you can forward your complaint to the Appellate Authority of the Co. You can find the contact details of Nodal officer and Appellate Authority (Broadband) from the Website of the MTNL.
i don't know from where to start..in a world where service providers calls people and ask for feedback and give there best to their customer..i have used vodafone ,idea they are amazing in customer serivce...if you any query they will solve then and there or else they will do everypossible thing ..on the other side we have mtnl....i don't know what you people wants to prove...millions of rupees you spending on the advertisement..but if we talk about customer service it is zero..its been 3 year i am using mtnl...i would say till the time it is working it is great no doubt..nothing is better than that ..the day i get stuck...when we need actually help from your support team..they sucks....sorry for this language but that is true....forget agent your supervisor does not know how and when to say thankyou....it is amazing....NOW MY MAIN ISSUE..FROM LAST 25 DAYS MY MTNL INTERNET IS NOT WORKING ON A DAILY BASIS I COMPLAING FOR BROADBAND ..IT IS NOT WORKING AT ALL...EVERYTIME I CALL TO 1504 THEY SAY TECHNICIAN WILL VISIT IN NXT 24 HRS ...WHAT 24HS THEY TALKING ABOUT AND DOES NOT THE MEANING OF COURTSEY AND RESPECT...THEY DOES NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MEAN..SOME TIMES IT SEEMS IAM TALKING TO SOMEONE WHO ARE NOT EVEN 10 PASS...IN HINDI GAVAR.....THE CREATOR OF THIS SITE IS ALSO GREAT ...COMPLAINT PORTAL IS NOT WORKING HOW FUNYY IT COULD BE ..EVERY THING IN MTNL IS JOKE...I TRIED TO FILE A COMPLAINT..THE LINNK IS NOT WORKING...SEE HOW GOOD YOU CAN IMAGINE....YOU PEOPLE ARE GREAT...I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO....IAM PLANNING TO VISIT CONSUMER COURT THAT IS LAST OPTION....I REALLY WANT TO CHANGE THE SYSTME.....THANKS.
I am fed up of mtnl's poor service. these people have good infrastructure but poorest of the servicing and ZERO fedback system.
internet connection is faulty since 25/aug/2009.
i have complained at 198 , 1504 , area manager , d.e.t. I told them there is line problem ( link light is blinking).
still they have not rectified till now. dt 7/sept/2009. det , stopped picking my phone , area manager feels he is obliging by attending office even at 11:00 am. I called at 10:00 he was driving.
last month there was problem with telephone line . my phone was dead for 20 days but the bill was not reduced.
seriously such a big organization. and there is no online / complaint tracking system to reduce customer agony.
IS THERE AN AUTHORITY / RESPONSIBLE PERSON WHO WILL LISTEN.

i am fed up of poor service of mtnl ............my net only works for 10 mnts properly after that it goes off as xdsl light starts blinking......i hav complaint many time ..the engineer came and i dont know what he does ..there was no effect on net and was working as same as before ..it is same with my phone also .... my father is paying bills right at time bt receiving poorest service ..many times i have to go to cybercafe even having net ...plzz take stict action towards my complain
i am getting problem in my broadband connection .it doesnt work properly all time and the speed is too slow it takes about 1 min to open a site.,but according to my connection my speed is 256 kbps,,which is not delivered to me,,,my landline no. is 01123695960. i hav registered many complaints but no action has been taken,.
i request u to take decision regarding this and solve my problem.

I have taken MTNL Internet connection. MTNL guy came & dump
router and modem at my place and said will be connected by technician.
but no body since then came to my place.
Even I had been to MTNL Mira Road office Mumbai twice but
they replied he will come today but no engineer visits at my place.
I had been to MTNL office today .i.e. 7th Nov-09. I was shock to see
that concern officer was not there on the seat, when I asked other officer
he said that officer has gone for lunch and Time was around 11.45pm. When I asked him when he will come back he said after 2. Then he said better you come on Monday .
They are really pest in our Government and spoiling image as a whole.
Action has to be taken immediately.
My uncle has a MTNL Broadband 256kbps Unlimited plan and he gets a good speed of around 120kbps, after seeing this, even i got a new mtnl connection and broadband with 1 MBPS UNLIMITED PLAN thinking that i would get a nice speed of atleast 300-400 kbps, but the speed that i am getting is ONLY 27kbps MAXIMUM.....my connection is only 5 days old, and since day one i am facing this problem, i complained regarding this, and the technician also came, he kept saying that in unlimited plans you get low speed but then i told him about my uncle's internet, he then asked me to complain on 1504, i did that too, now please do we have a solution to this, because i am paying Rs. 1600 every month for so low speed.
