    Default MTNL Broadband Services Issue

    Respected Sir/Ma'am,

    I am Tushank Jawa on 31st of October i requested MTNL to convert my internet
    connection to wi-fi & i even requested them to change my broadband plan from
    600 unlimited which gives you 256 Kbps speed to 999 unlimited which gives
    you 512 Kbps . Now the very next day they converted my plan to 999 but its
    been almost 1 week that i have been regularly requesting them to increase my
    internet speed to atleast what i deserve & what i am paying for. There
    obvious reply is that it will be done by the morning but that has never
    happened till date, despite of several request and complaints nothing is
    being done. I was also asked to email my request at bb500k@gmail.com &
    helpdesk.delhi@bol.net.in which i did, i waited for there reply but all in
    vain. I even attached a Print Screen which proves that what speed i am
    getting. So overall its means that i am being over-charged with reference to
    the what plan i have opted for & the speed that i am getting (256kbps).
    I even tried to get in touch with Area Manager but he wasn't available. I am
    really upset with MTNL services.


    Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

    Default Very Very Slow Internet Connection on Rs649 Plan

    Hi,
    I have MTNL broadband plan of Rs649 on which i am just getting a download speed of 10kbps, sometimes when i am lucky the download speed is around 15kbps. I have launched several complaints but no one is eager enough to even ask what is the issue rather they tell that if this is the case, go for Airtel.

    Default Shame to the service of mtnl

    I'm also fed up of the poor service of MTNL !!

    My problem is that the connection is never frequent the net came for 10min. and then go.... i also get very poor speed not even 256kbps and whenever icomplaint to MTNL brodband related no. ( i.e. 1504 in delhi)
    they keep telling me that either its a technical problem or they kept saying that you should be happy to get net working for sometime in a day.and say that exchange has been overloaded.

    I feel like bashing up my head in keyboard whenver i am opening a attachment in the mail or downloading something. It always struct in the middle andbroadband goes off. It is very irritating as whenever my dad is paying up the electricity bill or paying house tax the net goes off and one day e finished of paying the same house tax thrice which is very serious problem as after it he had to bear problem asking the authority to refund the money debited in his account.

    I'm very fed up of this service.
    I want a strict action to be taken against all the defaulter who are stealing widthband from users connection or else they dont have any right to ask for the bill.

    I hv MTNL Broadband 256kbps Unlimited plan, i m using dis service last 11 months....
    In the beginning i got exllent speed or service as well..I m a Animator and my mostly work by online...surfing n downloading both...share very big files with client...but i didnt get any problem in starting 4 or 5 month....bt last 5 or 6 months i m facing very very very bad service or speed by MTNL...lots many time i m complain may b 100 to 200 times by phone or went to MTNL office too bt no one want to help even they did not listen what the problem..or they direct say " connection band kara do, thik nhi chal raha hai toh or dubara connection nhi milega"
    starting speed when i m newly join with MTNL is maximum 225 kbps, lowest is 120 kbps or average speed is 150 kbps(if u don't believed that so i hv a screen shot of my top speed, if want to see that then i wil..) but now i m getting only 20 kbps speed maximum...
    so plz help me SIR/Madam...

    sir,
    i am getting problem in my broadband connection .it doesnt work properly all time and the speed is too slow it takes about 1 min to open a site.,but according to my connection my speed is 30 kbps,,which is not delivered to me,,,my landline no. is 01127844691. i hav registered many complaints but no action has been taken,.

    i request u to take decision regarding this and solve my problem.

    Default MTNL: Phone keeps going dead, internet keeps disconnecting/ reconnecting - 4 months

    Hello,

    I have been following your advice and reading the long list of complaints for the past few months.

    It has been a horrible four months for my mother who is a senior living in Bandra (W) Mumbai. Her phone keeps going dead and only if someone calls does it 'wake up' and start working. Also when on MSN chat, you can actually see the disconnect and reconnect as the communication will suddenly breakdown and she will go offline and suddenly come back.

    We have repeatedly made calls to MTNL and all they do is keep calling back. A few times, the linesman came by and tested the box etc, however never able to find the root cause
    At one point when my mother made a complaint, the linesman called and over the phone shouted at my mother who is a senior and threatened to disconnect the phone completely.

    Following the guidance on this forum, I drafted a letter for my mother and she delivered it to the AGP (OP) at the Bandra Telephone Exchange Building - this was in the middle of January - so far there has been no response from this AGM. Attempts to call on his contact number only gets a ringing response - nobody picks up.

    The linesman asked my mother to call him directly when she does he tells her he dialed and the phone is working - what he is not understanding is that only when an incoming call comes in, does the phone start to work again.

    I have contacted people I know in other telecom companies and they tell me the problem could be loose connection, dirt in the connections, loose wires or something; but this linesman will not listen when I call he just hangs up.

    I would like to escalate this now to the next level which I believe is the appelate authority - My request to the moderator is: can you help me with the proper email or postal address?

    Thumbs down Frequesnt disconnection of MTNL broadband

    I have telephone no 22079251 and have been a subscriber to MTNL broadband's unlimited plan . I agree with most of the complainants here that there have been frequent disconnections while working on internet. Even frequent complaints dont yield any results since the persons who rarely if ever visit the site are not conversant with ther service at all. Most of the times however they inquire on telephone itself weather the phone is working or not. Its utterly frustrating that no body cares about the service and customers need.

    This is start from the installation as one person came my house with one box and said this is for you i ask him to install the device he said this is his job to deliver and he don't know any thing about it. so i installed it by my self. The adsl router is damaged it didn't have on/off button so i launch a complaint for the same. But no result found so i take personal number of mtnl staff of my area. He said that the line man is not available till next week and he will come to replace the router. So i visit mtnl office to replace router myself. After replacing device it worked fine for 2 weeks and at the time of complaint i didn't get any call but after resolution i get one call for seven days without fail. But now getting one problem as it stops browsing after 10 to 30 mins. After rebooting device it start working again.

    Please some one do something

    i have Rs.999 plan 512 kbps speed but my downloading net speed is 25 kbps only my phone no is 9718921333

    This is regarding improper response from 1504. whenever I call up eighter they disconnect the call or they say their website is not working or they say 1500 will be able provide information. I wrote a mail to all the branch managers regarding this improper behavious from 1504 service. Moreover whenever I called and asked to connect me to superviser, executive eighter tell he is in meeting or they say he is not in the office "zara bahar gaye hain". To conclude services provided are not at all professional.

    Default complaint about speed of my net

    sir, i m nirupma mera internet ka unlimited wala plan hai is plan ke rules ke according iski speed "512" hoti hai pr meri net ki speed bahut kam aa rhi hai . so sir i requested to plz solve my problem as early as possible

    Default Need to cancell the triband connection

    I am sainath thakur, i have booked the MTNL tri band through the customet care,they have not sign any form or anything, now i need to cancell the same, but they asking me to go to the nearest customer care and fill the cancellation form. Now pease let me know if on single call i am getting the connection, so why your not cancelling the same on call, please repy.

    Red face MTNL broadband complaint .

    Hi all.


    I am also a patent of MTNL broadband,and with the people who provided us the services in laxmi ngar.Within last 15 days i tried to call in MTNL broadband helpdesk.everytime they people Take the call and after a little discussen after putting the call on hold and not picked up again.
    When we call to the Manager,GM,SDO.They have only one thing to say,did u register the complaint if i said yes-without asking any phone no,Name,,Anything they put down the phone.I dont understand where to complaint for those people.Who behave like this for their customers.
    They people always behave very rudly.After the the top of frustration i decided to disconnect all the serices from MTNL,.

    I never accept from our government this type of servive.and we have no place to tell this thing in Mtnl.Because they all are same and also gave us the same response,

    I began SPAM THE SPAMMER crusade on 04 March 2010. On 08 April 2010, I located this LONE heavy spammer using spry.com USA in bulk - the account was terminated on my complaint. On my first complaint, many accounts were terminated every hour. During recent days, he has been signing up debut accounts in new countries. Since 14 April SEVEN indian companies - RelianceTheCancer Sancharnet TataCom Railtel Airtel cert-in.org.in Vodafone - visibly came to rescue of dying world email spam. Today the master spammer - hard disk harvester roped in Novanet first and then MTNL to make rescue team total nine. From circumstances, master spammer appears to be kin of either a minister of TRAI/DOT Chief in India.
    The emails received have links which do not produce any page/error page. While victim waits for something to happen, image of hard disk is transmitted to spammer. He may be targeting bank passwords and precious software.
