This is to bring to your notice of the promises made about a connection and not fulfilled.
I had sent an email to "email@example.com" on 30 Sep 2009 about my first application. However the same has repeated again so have sent an e-mail again on 23rd May 2010 but have not received a reply.
Please find the list of of events below.
3 Apr 2010 : I contacted Airtel to inquire and book a connection and was promised a call back within 3 days.
14 Apr 2010 : I contacted Airtel again as I did not get any response even after 11 days while the promised days were 3, I gave a complaint and the number is listed below.
14 Apr 2010 : After my complaint the concerned people called back and fixed an appointment to visit my place to check the feasibility. 2 persons from Airtel visited my house the same evening and confirmed the feasibility is available and promised to give me a connection with in 4 to 5 working days. I confirmed the same again as I had the same experience before and they promised to give the connection. I completed the application and gave a cheque for Rs 1,500 and asked them if they are sure as my Sify connection was about to expire. They assured me and asked me to go ahead and remove the Sify connection as they will give the connection.
As discussed I went ahead and removed the service but I had no call even after the promised days.
25 Apr 2010 : I connected the customer care and they informed that they have some Technical problem but I was not contacted so gave a complaint again, the number is listed below.
26 Apr 2010 : I spoke to a team leader named Kumar(9880842147), Manjunath and Janardhan from tech team, they all confirmed that I will get a connection on the 30 Apr 2010 With out fail.
30 Apr 2010 : I got no call so I contacted Manjunath again and he confirmed that I will get the connection the same day.
03 Apr 2010 : I got a call from Manjunath and for my surprise I was told that they will not be able to give me a connection and the cheque will be sent back.
My Question to Aritel is
Why was these promises made?
Why was I asked to remove my Sify connection if they were not sure?
Why should I pay to get my connection back for the false promise made by them?
Today is 19 jul 2010 and I have not received my Cheque.

Till today I have not received my refund back not a reply to my e-mail.
Note : this is the second time I have gone through this so please kindly look into this.
My application numbers are
TBLR 018499 - Submitted on 23/09/2009 (I received a refund for this)
TBLR 0107725 - Submitted on 14/04/2010 (Not yet received a refund for this form 3 months)
I have the calls recorded to support my complaint and I have called and spoken to thin many times spending 100s of Rupees but no use.
This is the only way I think I can get a solution for this issue.
