    Angry Complain about internet service provider

    I am currently using Tikona broadband internet, mainly based in Mumbai.

    At the time of connection they promised me to give unlimited service @ speed of 300 KBPS @ Rs. 599/monthly. I started using this service from Feb 18th, 2010. But from the first week it started troubling me, I never got promised speed and connection. It got disconnected several times in a day.

    I registered complaints about this issue several times during the first month of the connection. Every time I only got fake promises. I normally use internet for share trading and other financial transaction which required uninterrupted connection. Due to this inconvenience I was unable to continue my transactions which led me to loss of few hundreds. To continue my trading and transactions I was forced to go to syber cafes for which I also spent some more money.

    At last I decided to discontinue the current internet service and on 10th March, 2010 I register one more complain regarding disconnection of the service but now they are forcing me to pay the bill whether I got the promised service or not. They also charged me Rs.500 at the time of installation.
    At the time of installation I noticed the connection issue but their installation engineer told me that the problem will be fixed within few hours. But the problem is still not fixed.

    It means they knew that the service will not work properly in my place, but to only increase their sale count they have cheated me. Which cost me loss in my share trading and mental harassment.

    Kindly help me in this case.

    I totally agree with Amit, i took Tikona internet connection at my home in Pune, Wakad 10 days back.
    I opted for a plan of 1 MB/Sec @ Rs. 1399/Month as i have to connect to my company's VPN and work from home occasionally. To my surprise i was getting a speed of 314 bytes/Sec. I called customer care 7-10 time and told them about the connection speed and every time they would make false promises and would say there is some work going around in your area.

    As a consequence of this i had to go to go to cybercafe many time for urgent work instead of having a 1 MB/Sec connection at my home.

    I wold say that TIKONA is the worst service provide that i have seen, please do not go for Tikona

    Default Rackspace firewall problem

    I'm hosting three dedicated servers at rackspace. recently i'm facing a problem that every 1 hour or so the SQL server is unreachable causing the websites to be down and work unproperly. after 15 minutes everything will be back to mormal.

    Angry Tikona sucks

    Hi

    I have taken 799 plan of tikona. they promised me speed of 600kbps in day and 1Mbps speed in night.i never get the speed.my biggest surprise come when i use tikona's "self test" utility to test my speed.it always show me the speed which they have promised. but when i test the speed from other online utility, it was no ware near to the standard speed.

    every time i complain, there representative come to my place and give the same standard reply that "main switch is not working properly. we have written it to higher authority and it will get resolve soon.

    Still i m wating to get this "SOON".

    Unhappy in2cablenet Complaint - Bad or irregular services

    I took the broadband connection from in2cablenet as my ISP changed his line from Sify Broadband to in2cablenet. Initially my service provider was M/s Seven to Eleven Cyber cafe and he had given me the line for Sify and promised me best services. The services were good in the beginning but later on in the following months the services began to break up during windy situations and usually during nights. When inquired i came to know that the ISP as i mentioned above had placed his data boxes in the area at various subscriber's houses. The result was that if the subscriber leaves the house and goes somewhere or if they leave their electricity turned off so the broadband services that are transmitted through the box will get turned off too. I had personally gone to one of the subscribers and sorted this problem out.. what a shame! Later during rains the cable amazingly gets water filled i it thus reducing the download speeds to 2 or 3 kbps.

    Notingly here i have to mention that i have mention that i had taken the plan from Sify of 512Kbps that provides me unlimited access from night 10 to morning 8. and the cost of which was 575/-

    After a few months this service provider owned by Mr. Shailendra Parsai, contact 09826069407 gave the whole set up to so called mister Saumitra Sharma, Contact 09303888000 of Scan net services. Thus automatically our ISP was changed! Later we came to know that Mr. Sharma had plans to change the services from Sify to in2cable as he was a cable TV provider in the area for couple of years.

    Although the setup was in the previous providers campus. Later due to certain personal grudge of these both chaps Mr. Parsai who had the set up in his premises began to turn the power off during nights thus limiting the subscribers to be able to have services only during the day time. And as a result we who had the services for nigh or so called Night-Plans were left amazed. On informing Mr. Sharma about this situation he told that the services will be resolved and also promised to compensate for the 7 days loss of services that i had experience. But its been 2 months since that discussion and no use. Here i will also mention that the same 512Kpbs plan that i had now costs me 662/- and gives me 1.5 GB data usage free during the day which is useless for me since i am in office...... CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME AND LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN LET THIS GUY TEACH A LESSON FOR NOT PAYING PROPER ATTENTION IN THE AREA OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION...

    That's exactly whats happening in todays world ,I am residing in Thane where i use this f*** tikona net the sales person told me tat speed will be min256kbps up to 2.1 mbps but when plan is started it named like 499 UL 150kbps which is true,even worse is it is not even 150 i get dwnldspeed of 10 kbps only.
    I had just installed tikona and become a fool .

    Is there any soln. to this so that we can teach this tikona or others fake internet suppliers.

    i m using mts blaze from around an month they claim that they will give downloading speed up to Mbps but from the date of purchase i am getting speed between 1-10kbps speed not even a quarter of which they claim .
    i have complained almost 2 times they come and take their readings and go and tell that your problem will be solved in two days and no solution is given and no effort is taken to solve the problem.

    Send a written notice to the MTS Nodal Officer via email or registered post, mention all the details in it and ask them for the proper solution with in the mentioned time in the notice, wait for their response and revert us back.

    Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

    Default cheating by Tikona

    Hi
    I totally agree with the issue with Tikona.. such hopeless people. I am in Pune. I had filled up form for a new connection and issued them a cheque for the same. But, no installation was done of any broadband at my end, and one fine day onwards I started receiving bills for the same.Secondly, my cheque also got cleared against the 'installation' done !!! It is almost 1 year now and they are still trying to solve the issue and making fake promises about refund of my amount.

    How can I fight against them? There should be some way these rogues get punished and taking customers for a ride?? Can anyone help me out? I have all the required communications that I have done with them. But still I am awaiting my refund.

    @ Rs.999/- Every month...

    Thuuuu...Shame on TATA PHOTON service....

    People TATA photon is really a cheat company pls do not go with it...

    Have done slow speed troubleshooting (Which I am already aware of).
    But it still did not help me to increase the speed!! I think I have to cancel the service,
    Else I need any kind of compensations on it....

    I am getting Download speed of 0.07Mbps & Upload speed of 0.25Mbps which is still bad even after troubleshooting.

    Well the executive had come to my place & he done nothing other then doing a regular speed test, & female calls me & says that sir the maximum speed which u get from tata photon is upto 300kbps , Am tired & sick of tata reps neither they don't know to speak English nor they understand English.

    Again the complaint was made doc no: 246845061, one of your rep by name Sandeep calls me again & says that "yes sir I understand your problem & I will make sure that one of our person will come to your place tomorrow i,e.16th Dec 2010 & he will fix an ANTENNA which is a signal booster, & u will get good speed up to 900 to 1000Kbps( Which is bull shit commitment)" this person has wasted my 45min & gave bullshit service. And then next day one of rep by name Ali calls saying that "Sir your usage limit has crossed 9GB because of which you are getting slow speed,...My question to tata is are they hiring educated guys?? because one guy calls me one day before & says that he will send an executive & next day another jack calls & says that usage is crossed.

    Now I don't want any excuses, I want an executive to come to my place & fix what ever that antenna is as its committed by your own REP Mr.Sandeep. And also send me the bag regarding which still i have not received any feedback.

    One more thing I forgot, I got this PHOTON TV activated, I don't knw who invented that concept for TATA, if start watching TV it takes more then half hr to get loaded by that time I went to sleep, & the voice & picture quality is sooooooo goooodddd that even we cannot get it from any sony bravia lcd tv, first I want tata TV to be deactivated & also make sure that you people dont charge me in the Bill...

    If u want me to be a satisfied customer then resolve all my issues else there are many other service providers in market who can give me a far better service than TATA.

    i am using reliance ix high speed netconnect from last 3 month,but i have never got up rate speed more than 30 kbps,
    it is imagin to me why this frade company say to provide 230 kbps speed.............its shame.
    suggestion is my profession so alwase kept in your mind that reliance means wasteg of money,wasteg of time,wastge of energy, NEVER CONNECT WITH RELIANCE.
    3 months ago reliance was my love,i have 4 cdma & 1 gsm reliance connection,all of them runing but this was my last falt.....

    Default Worst Tikona Internet services, bad bad bad tikonaa cheater broadband tikona

    Hi All,

    I m rohit Mehra my customer id 1104367456. i m fed up with tikona internet connection. i am getting error of network unplugged when i complaint to customer care no. regarding this issue before two days back after very long wait on IVR they said they will call me on 3rd sept saturday 9.30 pm. but i did not get any call. after that i called again then they said they will call 10.30am on sunday but still i did not get any call.

    After this bull shit disscussion i called my sales representative Mr. Prem (9873272770) he said he will arrange a person he promise me to resolve this issue before 3 pm on sunday 04th sept but still i m waitng for his person after that i tried to call Mr. Aslam (8802132393) but i think he is too busy every time he did not recevied my call or never call back to me. after that i called again cusotmer care some miss chitra pickup my call she said she will do something for me but i did not get any thing message.

    After this hassle i called again mr prem but he as usal he is trying trying & trying. but i think i should disconnect & get another services provider.

    helooooooooo if anyone is reading my mail please reply me back otherwise god bless you byyyyy tikonaaaaa money maker no customer satisfaction

    This is a web site that promises to register companies. Our experience with them was nothing short of being utterly careless. First the requested an advance with the promise of registering a company within 1 day. Once the advance was paid they did not respond to phone calls. After several attempts one of their persons Roy sent an email to another person Josmie asking to return the money. Yet the money was not returned.
