    Default Tata Indicom . illegal payment recovery

    I, Suresh Muthreja, father of Ms.Poonam Suresh Muthreja,holding Tata
    Walky Connection No. 022 56820293 wish to state as under :

    I was a regular customer of Tata Walky Connection No.022 56820293
    and paid my bills regularly.

    Suddenly and without intimation ( save and except the sms or
    telephone calls ) my phone was disconnected for non payment of
    Rs.2,133/-. Even though I, had not received any bill.I repeat, your
    company expected me to pay without seeing/verifying/submission of
    the Bill ??? and disconnected my telephone connection.

    During the last two months some one claiming to be your Associate
    (holding tata mobile no.9224428553 ) kept pestering me to pay the
    bills, continuously visiting my home (in my absence). He kept
    telling me that if I paid Rs.1,700/- my disconnected phone would be
    restored.

    On 14th february, 2006 I paid cash Rs.2,000/- to one Easy Bill Ltd.,
    Franchisee, Piyush General Stores, Chembur, Mumbai 400071, TID
    No.SA0000000623, Seq.No.12406, Batch No.2568 dated 14.02.06 at
    12.31.27 hours.

    I contacted on 121 your customer service and spoke to one Mr.Amol,
    Mr.Parvez, Ms.Surinder who kept insisting that until and unless I
    pay the balance Rs.133/- my phone connection will not be restored.

    I was told that even if I pay the balance Rs.133/- my phone
    connection will not be restored earlier than 36 to 48 hours ..

    I have with me one Computer Print out of some M/s.D.K.LEGAL
    ASSOCIATES, Advocates with address as 39 E, Subhash Chandra Bose
    C.H.S..,Sion Bandra Link Road, Mumbai 400017 supposed to be signed
    by some Adv.A.A.Khan, threatening legal proceedings, civil and/or
    criminal at my cost and consequences if I do not pay the bill.
    When I telephoned 022 56401804 the number given in the Computer
    Print Out I was shocked to learn that (1) the Advocate A A Khan is
    never available on that telephone number., (2) the Qualification of
    the Advocate A.A.Khan (not mentioned on the Computer Print Out) is
    not known to the person answering the said telephone no.022 56401804.

    Am I to presume that the Notice was meant purely to Scare me ?? and
    maybe 1000s of other Tata Mobile Defaulters ? Am I to presume that
    Tata Telecom Services authorizes Advocates non existent or with no
    legal qualifications ?

    Am intimating the Bar Council of Maharashtra, Mumbai, by enclosing
    the copy of the legal notice sent to me by the so called D K LEGAL
    ASSOCIATES for necessary verification and action not only against
    the Advocate (for not stating his qualifications in the notice.,
    for not stating his exact contact address) but also if they can
    assist me,at my cost and consequences, in taking action against Tata
    Teleservices Ltd. For hiring Associates , disclosing my personal
    residential address to them and who in turn harass me, intrude on my
    privacy at any time and threaten me with dubious legal actions
    supposedly with the signature of dubiously qualified Advocate……).

    Your immediate clarification awaited.

    Sub: M/S ICICI Bank Limited has misled the Reserve Bank of India with
    the criminal intentions for their wrongful gain and illegal benefits,
    during their IPO worth Rs 5750 Crores, in December 2005.

    Sir,

    With reference to above, this is to inform you that on the basis of the
    false declaration on oath and by concealing the vital truth regarding criminal
    court case No 1648/2001, in their red herring prospectus submitted by them for
    the purpose of initial approval from the Reserve Bank of India for their above
    referred IPO.

    In the matter for your ready reference, I had attached herewith a copy
    of the letter dated 11.02.2006 being sent to the Vice President, JM Morgan
    Stanley Pvt Ltd ( Merchant Bankers of the above mentioned IPO) having complete
    details and information regarding the false declaration and concealment of the
    truth by M/S ICICI Bank Limited.

    Further on the basis of the facts and information in front of you, you
    are respectfully requested to please initiate immediate legal and other
    departmental actions according to the law, against the criminals.

    Even I also got the legal notice even though I paid all my dues. Even after they have taken the equipments from my home, I got the bill for next two months. After calling and mailing 100 times to their customer care, at last they sent mail saying that no amount is due on my account, but after one year I got the legal notice.
    The reason for me for disconnecting the Tata Indicom was wrong billing. They were charging for the calls which I have not made. Tata Indicome is worst telecom service in the world.

    Unhappy Tata Indicom internet bill problem

    I had take a tata indicom wimax connection with the account name nichung@vsnl.net. I had disconnected my connection and had a due of 1600rs . When the customer care executive called me up i asked asked her to deduct 1000rs from my security deposit and bill me the remaining amount . The Tata people stopped calling and recently i got a letter from some legal firm saying that if i dont pay up the bill , they will sue me .Pls tell me what to do .

    Default AIRTEL CHARGING 5200 after full and final statement done.

    Hi,

    I have paid full and final amount of Rs. 7500/- for AIRTEL bill in Month of JAN 2010. I got the letter also. If possible I can attach it.

    Now in Month of FEB 2010. They have deducted 5242/- INR using Auto debit facility on my credit card.

    Now I am requesting AIRTEL for refund of the same amount and they are refusing to refund the amount.

    Please beware of taking TATA INTERNET DSL CABLE CONNECTION, as they are changing their tariff without informing you and charge you on a higher side. They will not accept their mistake and fool you taking advantage. I have already lodged the complaint with DOT and TRAI. Now they are trying to convince me, accepting their mistake orally but not giving me anything in writing.

    Please beware of taking TATA INTERNET DSL CABLE CONNECTION, as they are changing their tariff without informing you and charge you on a higher side. They will not accept their mistake and fool you taking advantage. I have already lodged the complaint with DOT and TRAI. Now they are trying to convince me, accepting their mistake orally but not giving me anything in writing. File the complaint with DOT and TRAI and also file the complaint on their website and send the complaint to Nodal Officer also.

    Default Poor service, aggressive demand for payment

    Hi,

    I am a medical resident in a reputed hospital, staying 3000 miles away from home... Due to academic needs I had taken a TATA photon service 1 year ago.... Actually it was compelled on me by a TATA agent ( Saurabh) through another friend of mine. Because of a lack of provision of hostel facilities from my hospital I had to move in and out of places depending on rents and facilities. Not only did I not receive proper service, internet speed ( and even got cut off twice for 1year delay in payment in bills) , but even i had never received help from any customer care regarding queries or bill issues.... I have never seen such irresponsible professionals before... When i changed my residency I had requested them atleast 10 times to send bills to my new address, phone number or email id..... But they never did so for many months..... The only way i would be able to know my bill is wen they would call me up and say bill is due (or by going online to their site and search), which would be in the peak hours of my work.... My work warrants me to be in the hospital almost 18hours a day. Once my tata photon stopped working.....no service for almost a month... NOne of the customer cares helped me.... On visiting a nearby tata centre...they gave me option to call customer care again...... I suffered without internet service for 1 month, badly affecting my studies. There was also no calls from customer care for that month... Since i paid around 1200 per month (for nothing!) and they already had my caution deposit of 1000rs; i discarded the photon; and took a new service...After 2 months they are calling me to pay around (Rs 4000!!) ... I have no idea on what basis they came to such a ill...... As not only had i not used it, i dint even get any service......
    I have no bill proof, no intimation in my mail or sms....... What right do they have to charge me for no service...? Even when they called I had informed them my present working address, but then there was no response...... Now after a few months delay they have again started calling me and pestering me and my personal life......

    The whole TATA service is useless...Such things should be shut down..... I have heard their next approach is intimidating the customer with a legal notice..... I request the customer court to strongly condemn these moves.... Myself I am government servant working most hours a day for sick patients trying to save theri lives.....while these people just eat our head off continuously....They are a hazard to the society.....

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I procured a CDMA T-sim from cuttack on 19/01/2012 and topped it up by Rs.110. The same night i browsed the internet for about an hour (used the phone as modem) in my laptop and Rs. 75 was deducted from the main balance. The same night i topped it up again for Rs.350. The balance was Rs.385.09

    On 20/01/2012 morning, I called up tata docomo customer care to enquire about the internet charges and data packs available. Upon receiving the required information, I came to know that the charges were as high as 10p/10KB. To this point its fine, i may have exhausted the above sum browsing on the default plan i.e 10p/10KB.
    So then I subscribed to data pack of Rs.15 and 500 MB data free. I even got a confirmation that the data pack has been activated and i can browse for 500 MB free for next 3 days. OK. The balance at this moment was Rs.356.01. After Rs.15 was deducted, it was Rs.341.01.

    Now i again connected to the internet on my mobile, checked my mail (on the mobile) and downloaded 3~4 MB of data from android market. And then to my very surprise my balance reduced to Rs.228 (at 18:15 hrs), I again checked my balance after couple of hours, the balance was Rs.202.21 (at 20:48 hrs). Now my point is why is my balance reducing even of I am not using anything (voice or data). I already have 500 MB in my account, so there should not be any deduction from my main balance.

    I demand a prompt explanation and a breakup of my usage. Its just been 24 hours that I have activated the phone, and I have lost Rs. 257.79 (out of this only 9 paise has been used for voice, and Rs 257.7 for data).

    I have high regards for tata docomo, but in just 1 day i have been disgusted with the way my balance is reducing, there is no transparency, its like day time robbery. Pls resolve the matter on priority and refund whatever amount unjustly deducted from my main balance.

    FYI I am using an android handset Samsung Galaxy POP I559 and an OMH sim.
