I am manohar from Chennai and had opened a Wireless internet account (USB) with Tata Indicom (# 9282157675) in March this year and my account number is 903149852.

But the internet connection was not established properly and not even accessed a single web page. Based on the call logged, a customer service engineer has attended and confirmed that the signal strength is weak and not enough to access internet web pages.

Hence I asked the Tata Indicom (Customer service) to cancel the account immediately and also asked to cancel all the bills raised. But they had cancelled some of the bills, but asked me to pay the first month bill of Rs594 just for the reason of wireless connection established and running (when we had tried to browse with the connection), but could not access internet at all.

I had refused to pay even Rs594 because of the faulty connection and the mental stress undergone in trying with it and communicating with them.

Now, there has been a notice issued to me through Tamil Nadu state Legal cell services for the payment.

Apart from this I had bought the instrument spending around Rs 3,000 which is lying waste now.

Please advice and is there a way back to sue them?
