I am a holder of Market Plus policy No 562792650. In accordance with the validity date of the policy, I have submitted the duly signed policy to Branch no 26L ( Mathura) for disbursement of surrender value.But to my surprise, I was intimated that the same has been converted to pension scheme(even before the expiry of the policy date).I have stated that this suo moto action is illogical and incorrect.I have also submitted a letter to Branch Manager stating that I require the surrender value urgently for by medical treatment and has also submitted a medical certificate from LIC empanelled Doctor.But till date no action is being seen from Branch office, Divisional office at Aligarh and Regional Office at Kanpur.This is a clear case of harassment to an ailing woman and will seriously jeopardise the goodwill of LIC.
This sort of action is illegal and immediate redressal of the same is solicited.
