One day a team from Reliance Life Insurance has called my mom and said that they have elected as a best couple and they will be given 1lakh in free if they take a policy while they retrieve the amount.My parents as most of the others believed them and taken a policy in reliance.They have paid first installment.Team has repeatedly called to pay second installment second year before the date itself and my father(he is senior citizen) went and paid the amount.It is in 2010(second installment year-details lic no-14906525,client no--70894923 ,date paid --21/09/2010).When he is planning to pay for the 3rd installment 2011,he came to know that reliance has removed its branch from my place.
Then my parents asked me to know where to pay the 3rd installment by calling customer care.I have called the customer care and then so many things came in to light which my parents dont even know all that.They have said so many other restrictions which my parents didn't even heard of before.And when we asked about all this they said that we should read the proposal before applying it seems which is a very rude reply from a company perspective.Becuase the browcher will be coming only after 15days from booking the plan and also that document is in complete English which my parents doesn't know anything and believed solely on the company.
We thought we can leave this as we have committed without knowing and asked where to pay the 3rd installment.Then we got a blow that,they didn't received our second installment(rs.50000) it seems.When we are telling that we have company receipt everything which is a proof,they said it may not be the original one.But this utter stupidity because even for the 1st installment we have got the same receipt which the same person said as they have received our first installment.
My father since June2011 he is calling the reliance branch near by (Nellore,Andhrapradesh) but they not giving correct response.They said that the people who has taken the 2nd installment left it seems.They didnt made the payment to company itseems.
Is it our fault??Since reliance has recuited or given contract to such people it is reliance responsibility to give back our money.My father at this age he is going to nellore so often feeling so tensed and woried about the money.He is talking with some contact person in reliance named "Karemulla" who is working in Vijayawada(Andhra Pradesh) branch.
He is saying that he will let us get our money by talking with those people who has commited this fraud.But he didn't do anything till now.
But i cannot see my parents tensed and worried,its his hard work.You cannot play with him like this.
We are planning to put this before consumer court as we have no other way regarding this,If relaince has every thing in a planned and organised manner then can you help us in dealing with this issue.
We dont even want to continue with policy we got fed up with.My father is worried that they will not even give the first installement till 5yrs it seems.He doesn't want to continue in this.He got fed up with it.
Please help us if you can before we go to consumer court.
